Timothy Jennings beach

Small beach underneath the arterial near the top of Seneca Lake. The beach is all small pebbles right down into the water. It appears to be sand/mud a few feet offshore. There aren't any amenities like picnic tables there. We're not even sure if the beach is actually open to the public. People have posted pictures of themselves on the beach, but there are no trespassing signs posted by NYS Dep. of Transportation.

Quasi-public beach option in Geneva NY. The beach is mostly gravel covered with some grass, so you'll want to bring a fairly thick blanket. The water gradually slopes deeper, but there's plenty of room to wade. There's a good bit of Zebra Mussels in the area, so water shoes are advised. There's no lifeguard on duty. Sometimes the wind blows seaweed and noxious odors into the swimming area. The land is technically owned by NY state, but the de facto caretaker, Tim, is usually there.

Jennings beach is the best place in Geneva!!!!!
