Epsilon-Omicron Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon at the University of Houston
The Epsilon-Omicron Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon has been a successful fixture of student life at the University of Houston for over half a century. First established in 1951 as Rho Beta, the local chapter members became members of TKE in May 1956. Since that time, almost 1,000 men at the University of Houston have become members of EO of TKE.
The chapter has ranked among the strongest fraternities at the institution while being the most senior chapter in continuous operation among the almost two dozen Texas-based TKE chapters. Nationally, EO was twice named a Top Teke Chapter and was recently named Most Improved Chapter in TKE. The chapter is one of the highest ranked UH fraternities in academic success, chapter size/membership and competitive standing.
Like the national organization, EO emphasizes Scholarship, Character, Leadership, Teamwork, Service and Brotherhood.
Our mission is to aid men in their mental, moral, and social development for life.
