My friends and I stopped here for breakfast before going to the beach. Food was good. But they didn’t put enough sauce for the chicken sandwhich and the southwest bowl. Overnight oats were bland as well, not sure if it is normally like that but at other breakfast places they usually make it a tiny bit sweeter. Overall the food was good though and servers were friendly. Restaurant was also really cute.
One word to describe it here, "alright." It gets the job done as far as breakfast goes but don't expect anything here to change your life. Service was subpar and disorganized. Drink refills are seemingly an abstract concept. Advice for future guests: drink your coffee and water slowly as it will be the only cup you get for the time you're there.
Got the eggs Benny. Potatoes over fried and under seasoned. Didn’t eat potatoes. Eggs Benny were okay. Had to ask for coffee refill. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Like the decor. Metered street parking.
Was so disappointed by something so simple to make. Went on Saturday at 12:30, it was busy so I anticipated that the service was going to be a bit slow but 45 minutes for pancakes and eggs is a bit much. Coffee was ice cold and had to ask for FRESH coffee but they ran out of mugs and had to “dump out the old and fill it with new coffee” ….Cappuccino took 20 minutes to be served because they were busy. Waiter was nice so we tried to stay optimistic. All the food was served cold except for the pancakes. The sausage and pepper omelet had ice cold veggies and the potatoes were old and not fresh. The waiter did comp the bill for the cold omelette and we just couldn’t be bothered to complain about the rest of it. The waiter asked the manager to comp the bill and he was rude and in earshot of our table but still failed to come and apologize or offer something else as a replacement. Was just deflated at this point. The only great thing was the carrot cake pancakes. They were hot, fluffy and full of carrots, raisins and spices. The ambiance is trendy and there is a buzz in the place but I just couldn’t get past the overall disappointment especially after paying $80 for 4 people even after the deducted omelette. Maybe a weekday would be better to try again but definitely not the weekend.
First time here, love this place already, very nice and cozy, family friendly ,Very spacious and great service. Our breakfast was fantastic, coffee was good. I’ll try the eggs Benedict with smoke salmon, avocado, roasted tomato, spinach. Super!!!! And the classic eggs breakfast with home fries. Definitely we will return. 100% recommended.
One of the best eggs benedict I’ve had in a very long time. And forget about the staff, they were phenomenal. Very personable and with great positive attitudes. The manager Sean made sure to go to each table and make sure everyone had what they needed. we had a great conversation and for my first time being there I would recommend Toast 1000%
My family and a couple of friends went to breakfast here as recommended by another friend. We were seated very quickly, and the hostess was extremely accommodating as I'm currently in a wheelchair. The server was very nice and took our orders right away. It took a while for all of us to get our drinks. We got our food pretty fast but had to wait for utensils. The lobster Benedict was good, but the slightly overcooked egg and thick hollandaise kept it from being great. I would definitely try them again, though.
Where do I start… just had our Engagement Party here on Saturday and it was nothing short of perfection. I can’t thank Manager Jake enough for everything he did from the first day we met to come up with the menu, share our vision, to helping us set up day of, and most importantly being amazing during the party. Thank you for taking care of my fiancé and I, checking in on us during the party, making sure we ate, you truly exceeded our expectations. Our guests absolutely LOVED the food, the friendly staff, the ambiance and just how cute the restaurant was! I’m so glad we chose Toast to have our engagement party, we would do it all over again!! Special thank you to Colin as well, he was friendly, professional, had such warm inviting energy the first day we went to see the restaurant and was a big reason we just knew it would be perfect! Thank you Colin for also doing so much for us the day of the party, your hard work and smile while doing it all did not go unseen, we appreciate you. Jake, Colin, and your team - a huge thank you for everything. Our engagement party was so special & an unforgettable night that wouldn’t have been possible without you!

I've been coming to Asbury Park for the last 15 years to enjoy the NJ zombie walk. Saturday was the first time I've ever been to toast. Their staff was so friendly! We thankfully got there early and had the opportunity to chat with our server before they got busy. I tried their special undead Omlete and it was really good. I also recommend trying their cinnamon bun. It's perfect to split with your partner! If you haven't stopped here I definitely suggest giving it a try.
