Todd W. Walters, DDS, NMD, attended the Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis, Indiana, and was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1986. At a TMJ Conference in Washington, DC, Dr. Walters was influenced by the guest speaker, Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, PhD, whose information on the tooth/body connection began his interest in biologic dentistry. Subsequently, he received his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree as well as Board Certification in Naturopathic Medicine and Biologic Dentistry from the American College of Integrative Medicine and Dentistry in 2015. Dr. Walters remains at the forefront of his challenging specialty via memberships and affiliations with prestigious professional societies and associations, such as the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, the Indianapolis District Dental Society, the American College of Integrative Medicine & Dentistry, and the American Naturopathic Medical Association.
