Tomlin Restaurant

We went Sunday night; it was phenomenal. In the beginning, his new dish, eggplant fabulous, and our main dish was pasta and pork. OMG, it was a flavour explosion. I recommend this place in my top 3 in all of Thunder Bay. Also, they have great wines and drinks without alcohol. In conclusion, you have to go there and taste allFood: 5/5

Tomlin Restaurant was phenomenally AMAZING!!! Four of us went for dinner saturday night & were seated promptly and we got the $75 per person for 4-course meal and the food just kept cominggggg! We really underestimated how much food would be served to us. We were so full that we had to take leftovers away. Now to how the food tasted, every single meal was SOOOO VERY DELICIOUS!!! All the cocktails we had were wonderful! My fave was the Sloe Gin cocktail! Now I understand why their restaurant was packed that night with a queue in front! The service was also so wonderful. The waitress took her time to explain each meal to us as she served it! Glad we were seated on time and could taste all the wonderful food! We will definitely go back to Tomlin!!

FANTASTIC! Did not expect much from a restaurant in Thunder Bay but this proved me wrong! This restaurant is a must. Everything is perfectly prepared and presented. Must haves: Gyoza Croquettes, Pork Belly, BBQ Pork Loin, and the finish with the Baklava this is one of the best I've had. This place is a must!Food: 5/5

This place is wonderful. Food was delicious and service was more then spectacular Courtney and Sarah were wonderful and definitely would recommend. Though it can get pricey, the atmosphere and food is well worth it. Definitely recommend!!

I had a great experience at Tomlin restaurant in Thunder Bay. The starter and dessert were both absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent throughout my meal. However, I wasn't a fan of the main dish. When I expressed this to my server, she immediately offered to speak with the manager to see if they could do something to make things right. I was amazed when they offered me a discount on the dish I didn't enjoy. The staff at Tomlin truly care about their customers and ensuring they have a positive dining experience. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is commendable, and I appreciate the way they handled my situation. Even though I didn't like the main dish, I would definitely visit Tomlin again and try something else. Overall, Tomlin is an excellent restaurant with fantastic food and exceptional service. If you're in Thunder Bay, I highly recommend giving them a try!

Tried the 4 person tasting menu this evening and it completely exceeded all my expectations. Not only was the food delicious but each course was a great size. Our server Courtney was wonderful and attentive. Our water glasses were always being refilled and she walked us through every dish.

Third time there and was pretty disappointed. Assumed now that Bistro One / Seler Restaurant and Bar has changed for the worst since new ownership that this place would be our new go to. Unfortunately the limited choice on the menu and bar like atmosphere it’s not the place for us. If we are going to spend $200 plus for a meal and drinks for two we would assume a better selection would be available and that we could carry on a conversation without yelling. Food is decent though.

It was our first time visiting Thunder Bay from Toronto. Tomlin did not disappoint! The food and the service was amazing! We got the dry aged ribeye with potatoes and salad, and the spaghetti. The quality and depth of the dishes were better than many Toronto restaurants we have tried recently. Definitely not a place to miss if you want a good meal. The waitress also went out of her way to write a list of recommended restaurants, cafes and bakeries for us to venture to.

sometimes it’s just not about the food very pretentious very loud bartenders scoured long faces just a poor attitude all around but we were hungry and decided to stay Food was tasty well presented but i fortunately all those beautiful flavours and sauce wasted since they do not serve bread What? at least ask the customer it does t cost much and people appreciate good bread with tasty sauces we travel and eat at a lot in restaurants the best ones are the ambience and customer service the oldest trick in the book

11/10 !!! Our food and drinks were incredible!! This is the place to eat if you are in Thunder Bay! They adjusted the appetizer to make it vegan and made an AMAZING tasting pasta with local veggies to make it completely vegan as well I was so impressed! Also ordered the chicken thighs bf loved the meal!! All of our drinks were immaculate so tasty and pretty!! We could not make a reservation because they don’t accept reservations for parties of 2. So we were put on a wait list when we arrived to the door, we waited for approx 2 hours as we kept getting pushed back. They called us twice and asked if we still wanted to keep it, we did. When we finally got in we were taken care of by an excellent hostess who understood how long we waited and for this, they gave us dessert on the house including a local, vegan double chocolate gelato!! We were so thankful they did this even though they didn’t have to! It was worth the wait!!
