The cornbread was delicious once the waitress remembered to give it to us, and the hotwings appetizer were very good. The etouffee consisted of sauteed onions and bell pepper over rice - there was no sauce at all every etouffee I've ever seen has a roux. The other meal ordered was chicken alfredo. "Blackened" was not in the menu, but the chicken came blackened. Blackened in the southern sense refers to the seasoning; this chicken was not seasoned at all AND it had been burned. The cooks teenage boys, by the looks insisted that this is the correct cooking style and refused to do anything differently. The waitress was new but nice, and didn't seem to have a great deal of confidence in the restaurant either. $40 down the drain appetizer, 2 meals, and tip; no drinks ordered. We won't eat there again and won't recommend it to any of our out-of-town visitors.
