I liked the gym but recently it just got too crowded, had to wait until a locker was free and equipment was always occupied, sauna was unusable. Why would I pay that premium price when I can go to a budget gym with the same service?
So far the best gym I have ever been to. Unfortunately was only for a couple of months while I was staying in Vienna. Would definitely recommend it to everyone that looks for a clean gym with a lot of equipment and a professional trainers. Extra compliment deserves the swimming pool. Only negativity is that the parking in DC Tower costs like 3€/hour so I ended up paying around 150€ extra a month only for the parking.

It's a very expensive but decent Gym however training sessions there are accompanied by 2 quite literally glaring problems 1. the sun is shining directly into the weightroom area which features large open windows to its south, reflecting off of metallic surfaces and ground tiles alike causing irritation if not eye damage and generally disturbing the flow of training 2. the distribution of cardio weightloss etc equipment and weightroom equipment is skewed in favor of cardio, esp considering this gym's clients, leading to the weightroom almost always being filled to the brim while other areas which are not southbound and therefore do not have problem #1 remain only sparingly utilized In Summary John Harris Fitness DC Tower is very expensive but only made to look good on the surface. In terms of function it could have been easily made more efficient, more protected from the sun, as well as have a more sensible distribution of clients across its rooms, however executive staff are pursuing other goals with this gym. I hope one day they change for the better. Snacks, drinks etc. come at extra charge. Cancelling your contract is relatively fast and easy, it took me but a single email with no further follow up confirmation. Staff is very polite. This is why I'm giving 2/5 stars. I will update this review once things change.
Great Fitness Center! I like that there is a lot of space in this gym and it's really tidy in there. They is also a big variety of activity courses, mostly in the evenings. There is also a nice small swimming pool, with a view on the donau. On the next floor there is also Sauna. Two separate ones for men and women and another one to share. All in all everything is good. The price though is a bit expensive. It is 110 euros monthly. For students it's about 70 euros.
I am a member of cats the musical and I stay fit in John Harris studios, I have to say this one on the Danube is literally amazing, modern, new, with a great view and the perfect location to enjoy the sunset while you work out or you relax in the spa. Highly recommend
No. 1 gym in Vienna. Clean equipment with cozy pool. Massage service and water server. Friendly staff. Worth to pay for monthly membership. You may be able to be in trial.
This gym can hardly disappoint you. It has everything you need for your workout, you can book a personal trainer or attend yoga and other classes. Moreover, there's a pool and 3 saunas.
Finally a gym that is adapted to everyone and with a view!! Just subscribed and will enjoy one year of pure luxury at afordable price!
