Kristen and her team were amazing from start to finish. Truly the Bomb.com. We had a short closing through a holiday weekend and they made sure we were adequately prepared for every step. Wow what can I say. First off let me say this, I’m a loyal person and I don’t shop around much. If you give me good service I’ll stick with you cause most of the time it’s about relationships not finding the cheapest. You get what you pay for is my belief. But anyways. They were referred to me by an agent that I had reached out to about some property. Ray contacted me immediately and started the process. I had everything needed to start this process. So there was a property I really wanted and I waited for days and never heard back. Well the property got an offer and I Still hadn’t heard back. Well I under In this market it happens. Well I waited a couple more days and finally said fine I’m not going to track anyone down to give my money away to. So I reached out to another and within 24hrs had my preapproval. It’s been several weeks now and still no word. Not one from him or even the agent. Which at this point is fine. I’ve moved on, but to view my preapproval and it’s still pending on the first step shows very poor business. I hope everything is ok personally and nothing bad has happened cause it is odd to never hear back again. But first I thought it was a scam and they were trying to steal my info. Cause this does happen, but the more I thought about it must be cause I’m no millionaire, I don’t have lots of money to spend. Im just a typical blue collar border line middle class American just trying to find his home and settle down coming into mid life. Maybe I don’t bring enough money to the payday at end of day. Just poor business practices and probably caused me to lose out on a house I thought was perfect for me in my price range. All I’m saying is beware. Seems like others have had great experience. I guess I’m the unlucky one.
Ray and his team are awesome, dedicated, and know every single step you need for your mortgage, the entire process went smooth for my mortgage. I also want to mention how good they handled the communications via phone and email as well as in office. Beside the good interest rate, they also helped me to get great home insurance rate that I wasn't able to obtain anywhere else. If you are looking for easy and professional mortgage process then you definitely need to work with Ray, Leslie, Pam and all the others behind the scene.
If you want a very high professional and efficient job done for you in the closing process for a home, then Ray Shanahan for TowneBank Mortgage is the man who l most definitely recommend. He did an outstanding job for me and my wife that allowed us to be able to close on our new home in one month. He worked long hours during the week and on the weekends for us. Ray was great!

I’ve got to hand to Ray and Town Home Mortgage, they were really impressive! My realtor recommended Ray after hearing him speak at a meeting. He had a lot to say and made big promises. Well he also delivered! My original lender was associated with the builders and 10 days before closing wouldn’t follow through on their promises. I felt locked in and frustrated with the whole process. I reached out to Ray and he was able to get everything in order, beat their and saved me over $300 a month on my mortgage!! He did this in 4 days, appraisal and all! Never been more impressed, I highly recommend going with Ray and saving yourself a lot of stress and frustration. Keep all of that energy to enjoy your new home!
