There are two missions for the Toy*Zeum of Utica. The primary mission of ToyZeum the toy museum
to unite and reunite families, by encouraging them to create and start family traditions of toy collecting, or collecting other meaningful items. To have fun, and to encourage family bonding, that will help build strong family ties, even long after the children are grown up and have moved out and away from home.
The secondary mission of Toy*Zeum is to provide a means of educational and cultural services to children and adult collectors in the Greater Utica, New York and Central New York area and visiting tourists through the preservation, exhibition, collection and interpretation of visual and decorative arts using toys and dolls and many other collectible items of various sorts and various time periods.
