It's a small venue for tennis so you're pretty close from the court. It'll be nice to have some direction to find your seat, even though the lady we asked was super nice and helpful.
Really nice Open venue! So happy for the region!
Very convenient parking, nice facility.
Amazing site for ATP Pro tennis! Great facility. Big time tennis with small town feel. A definite must for any tennis fan. Maybe add some tennis gear vendors for some variety.
Set up perfectly to where any seat is a great seat. Took away a star for staff. Half are unwilling to help or even speak to you, but the other half are very friendly and welcoming
Congrats to the WSO team for great improvements to the venue with player and attendee needs in mind. The new Harold Pollard Center is a fitting tribute to a man who loved people and making life grand for all. Easier access to seats with comfortable seating for all in the stadium. More open space and nicer seating on the concourse, too.
We LOVE this place. 8 indoor courts, a ton of outdoor courts. All kinds of clinics. We have a membership, have no idea if you can play without a membership. Can only reserve a court 2 days ahead of time, but we have never had a problem getting a court. Open late enough and courts can be reserved 1.5 hours at a time. Great place!!
Prohibited items like any kind of food, backpacks? Nice enough inside, but it rained all day and they don't offer refunds. Staff was competent and the food was good and reasonably priced.
I've been to the Winston Salem Open multiple times and always had a very good experience. Well planned, parking is free, and I will be back.
They are nice people but I'm sorry definitely not, the staff is so under-trained it's unbelievable. I have been attending this tennis complex since 2013 using the ball machine regularly; which if you look on the website does not say you must be a member to use. Today after SIX years of business I am told by one of the front desk attendants that I could not book a court or rent a ball machine. So the question is when did the policy change to only being available to out of towners and how does that make sense? There is no way the staff shouldn't have known that was the rule for the past 6 years. The funny thing is that I was there and rented a ball machine literally 2 days ago on September 5th. So I have to find a new tennis complex and highly recommend no one attend this place.
