Lesson learned, sticking with Verizon...I paid off my Verizon phone with the intention of switching to tracfone, as I used them over ten years ago when they started out with the prepaid cards. This store tried to set up a plan but it was based on a prepaid card. I thought it would have been more sophisticated by now. I did not have my Verizon codes as this info is securely kept by Verizon. He wanted me to call but I would have to go back to the Verizon store & show ID. The sales guy basically tried to blame it on me, didn't want me to leave the store, and that I cost him $35. When I explained that there was no transaction, and that I just assume call the cops and straighten this out, then the issue was dropped by him. I asked for the manager and there was none. As I was leaving this punk comes out of the back and tries to take up the argument. I explain that this is the problem of the store and procedure of the store-not mine. And since I'm twice their age, I say that you should understand how business is done and that I have to go to Verizon in person to get this info. As I'm leaving the store someone says "F--k you" under their breath. When I said "WHAT?" the guy doesn't own up to it. So I get one of their names in order to file a complaint. I try calling the store for two days straight and still no manager. Time to go to Corporate Headquarters in Doral and put this incident in writing.
