Really glad I went! Was better then I was expecting. The best kea enclosure I've seen I was so happy to see they had them! Quite a few baby birds including a few baby flamingos. Also a nice mix of different types of viewing areas, indoor spaces and walk in amongst the birds. Would highly recommend!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15
As an Ohioian I absolutely loved and appreciated the variety of birds. I had no idea there were so many different sizes of owls out there and this was probably one of my favorite places of the aviary. They also do a good job of displaying very realistic habitats. Overall, it was beautiful and a great place even to just take a walk!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15
Beautiful botanical garden and aviary! I had not been before but it was quite enjoyable. It was on a Sunday and not very crowded at all. There were no bird shows or activities going on and I didn't see staff around much to ask questions etc. Not sure if that's because it's a Sunday or because we came in the afternoon. Although beautiful it was a bit confusing getting around. We will definitely be back!
We are here visiting our son and his girlfriend. He suggested a visit to the aviary. We had a very enjoyable experience! Beautifully maintained grounds and we enjoyed all the birds and animals! Highly recommend for families! We purchased a yearly membership for the kids as part of their Christmas gift!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15
It had been a few years since I was last here. It had really been added to. There are lots of birds to see, several interactive play areas for the kids and fun water features. It is a great place to visit because it is well shaded and doesn't get as hot as out in the open.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15
A great Aviary for its size. Located near the heart of Salt Lake City, within Liberty Park. There are freely wandering peacocks, an Owl Forest, and an indoor rain forest, along with a couple dozen other enclosures. The price of admission was not high, about 10-15 dollars depending on age. Inside you can find concessions, a place to fill water bottles, and a playground where families can relax. We went on a Friday, and the aviary closed at 5 pm.
I actually didn't go inside. They have several access points where you can see a few birds along with posts describing them. This is located in Liberty Park which is a beauty all by itself. Tip: On Mondays, entry is $5 after 5pmVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$1–5
We me and my 2 boys, 1 &3 came here on our way through town. As an out of towner, I was drawn to this place by the good reviews, a place to stretch our legs, and a need for decent coffee. The park was nice, fun to see birds and spend time in nature. Cafe had pretty good sandwiches and good coffee.
Birds of all colors and sizes just doing their thing in this lush, gorgeous garden setting. It's like a chill escape where you can hang with the feathered crew and soak up some serious green vibes.
Great place to spend a few hours. Definitely get to the bird show - see their website for timings and note that they won't let you in after the show has started. And do the lorikeet feeding - there are also specific times for that and it costs a few extra bucks but it's a fun experience, especially for kids!Wait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
