Don’t waste your time at this location or with this business. They like to say that they’re not just a regular pawnshop yet they rip people off left and right. Literally checked my items, confirm they sold for 150 online, and tried to give me six dollars. I’ve sold with them previously same deal and they put it up for way closer to the sale price. They are business looking to take it advantage of people who need a couple bucks and don’t even pretend to be fair. Also, I don’t know why but the guys doing the intake are the slowest mfs in the world. God, if I could only find a job or I could be that incompetent and slow and still make a paycheck.

Unreasonable prices for selling items. 20$ for full psvr set motion and aim controllers. REAL GOLD 60$. Bought defective items without knowledge to be turned down when trying to return. Employees completely ignored customers waiting over 10minutes at checkout multiple times. Plus the atmosphere is just off. I will give 2 stars because trade it, does have a wide variety of items and tools to buy 8/10 times I usually find what i need. But there's always a 70% chance it actually works.

Today I was beyond displeased at this establishment. I went in there trying to sell my Asus Rog Zephrus M16 Gaming Laptop for $850 which this is a laptop valued at $2,150.00 New and $1,300.00 Used. There was more than enough proof as the sales representative pulled up my exact laptop on his phone and saw how expensive my laptop is. At first he claimed my laptop was $1500.000 and I told him he was wrong and he then showed me on the BestBuy website. I clicked on his phone and showed him it was only that price because that laptop is on sale for a couple of days. He went to the back and asked someone which I'm guessing is the owner or one of the managers how much I could get cash for my laptop and he came back and said that I would get $405.00 dollars. Not to mention he banged my laptop on the desktop they have at the front damaging it. Once hearing that I collected my laptop and went about my day. Thankfully I'm not desperate to sell. This is so confusing to me as I was in this store a few months ago and witnessed someone sell a PS4 and receive $220.00 for it. You mean to tell me that someone can come in this store and sell 2 PS4's and receive a bigger payout than me and I'm trying to trade in a laptop valued at $2,000... HOW DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE???? Moral of this review is, if you have any electronics worth any real value... you'd be better off selling it on Facebook Marketplace or a more reputable store. They do not have the capability of paying for items that are expensive. They can only afford to pay for petty items such as the "Nintendo Switch, Playstation All generations, XBox All Generations and other random items are a value under $500. Anyone who buys from this money hungry store is foolish and will lose a tremendous amount of money buying or selling from this store. This is already known but this store will not last long and will for sure go out of business. I feel bad for some the workers. Hopefully they have another job on the side.

I will not be going back because I was in there today and the manager was very rude he said that there was a pawn shop down the street very rude. Put items back before I was waited on and I waited at least 30 minutes.

A very awesome man named Donta went above and beyond to help us find what we needed for my kids! He was very helpful and answered all our questions! Best costumer service I have ever had! I want to thank him!!

Claim they pay top dollar on wanted items last time I was in school 30% of the lowest sold listing on ebay is NOT top dollar. Turn over is through the roof. New staff and new store manager every few months. Heavily used and abused items missing parts or just flat out broken they ask close to retail for. As another reviewer mentioned the employees who have been there a bit longer seem scared of the owner. They are all over worked and from what I've been told underpaid. If you bring in something of decent value it's a common tactic for them to say it's not selling and the owner is upset but they will "risk it" and help you by offering you pennies on the dollar. I can't name one item I've gotten out of this place that didn't need something to make it work 100%. Will tell you on the phone they are highly interested in an item or group items then you get up there and they pull the bait and switch. The usual one is the owner told us we are buying to much of said item you just happen to have so they cant offer much. Several times I've seen them literally high five each other after getting a high dollar item off an old person or naive person for next to nothing. I'm aware they know they are thr only game in town for a lot of items they have but this is no way to do business.

I went in and noticed that the PS5 were selling for well over retail when I can go in to target and get one for retail price. That should’ve been my first clue. But no, I kept shopping. I got a pack of uno cards wrapped and clearly marked “UNO CARD GAME.” I couldn’t check the cards because they were wrapped so I assumed all was well. I also got Persona 5 on switch. I got home to discover that the uno card game was only blue and green cards and the switch game was a Japanese only version. I feel ripped off and scammed. I don’t think I’ll be back.

Jaylen and John was a very good help with my visit today. I came in a little irritated and not only did they show professional but they also helped me and fixed the problem I had. Nothing but good things to say about both of them.

The people in management there know what's up, they know I'm right in my other reviews and when I have brought certain things up in person. Super lowball offers, half working items at full retail or even more, management who sleeps like babies after robbing an old or desperate person blind. Just dont bother. You wont find anything and you wont get any money. Raleigh, Wilson, New Bern, Eden. No Im not just listing towns in NC, Thats all the places trade it has attempted to do business in and didnt last very long or was run out of town. They proudly say they are the best 2nd hand shop in Goldsboro. If you live here you know that doesn't mean much. Again just don't even bother its not even worth turn your steering wheel to turn in if youre passing by. IF you do decide to sell to this sorry excuse of a business DO NOT let them pull the double team "second opinion" tactic. If you don't agree with what the buyer says they go ok lets get a 2nd opinion they then go in the back for a good few minutes then another employee comes out and they act like they are gonna give you a fair shake...they dont. They were back there whispering for several minutes to get stories straight and telling the other guy who comes out what to say. The place is immoral and shady built into the core.

I went in there to find a good birthday present for a family friend and Kurt helped me out! He was very kind and answered all of my questions easily. Definitely asking for him next time I come in!
