Easy to get to and an absolutely beautiful very well maintained RV park. The site we were in was very roomy. The only issue we had was that we checked in on Sunday not knowing the office was closed, and there was no information as to where to go or how to get set up. With that being said, we would definitely stay here again.
A gorgeous and peaceful spot in the country. We're here in May and only 2 other campers on Golf View during the week. Amazing lakes surrounded by lush gardens that are maintained by resident volunteers. There are deer, birds and we met one of the resident gators, maybe her name is Fluffy ? Many of the grass sites aren't level and the Wi-Fi is sketchy at times, but the full hook-ups and concrete patio pads are perfect. We were guided to our site by a super nice staff guy in a golf cart and told we could move to a more level site, if we preferred.. We did, but still we hadn't brought enough leveling blocks.. The pool is clean and refreshing, bathrooms are very nice. They have propane on site, as well as an ice freezer with bagged ice. There are beautifully maintained homes here as well with full time residents. We really like this place !
This is a 55 and up community that is based on Volunteerism And community spirit You're not to mention top shelf management Is and community ran by a board of directors This is a very active community,and a 9 hole golf course,old florida Paradise most places get sold here before they are advertized this is a labor of love community Nearby activities: Close to ta m pa st peat
Travelers Rest is our new favorite resort! It deserves more than five stars. Beautiful and peaceful boardwalk around gardens and pond. Delicious lunch at Snack Shack. Friendly employees and residents. Very nice, clean pool and bathrooms. Golf course and every other sport is offered here.
Can’t believe we discovered this gem. Wonderful place to stay. We have a 40 ft with tow, and we got a pull thru on the golf view sites. Plenty of room for slides. Site was level, WiFi good, satelite no issue. Clean laundry room, great pool, very clean sites, make sure you bring your golf clubs. Great for golfing. Otherwise you can rent some. Lots of activities to do. Live music on weekends. We had a blast. We definitely will return and stay longer. Not far from Tampa Bay, or Orlando. Little tricky to find on back roads.
Great place to stay! We got a tip through a RVing Facebook group and were lucky to get a space on short notice for the past weekend. 3 nights. Check in was easy, the site beautiful, easy to access and very clean! We loved the quiet, relaxed environment - all the residents there seem to be very nice.Service: 5/5
This is a great RV park. They are quite the diamond as if you didn't know where they were you couldn't find them. The park caters to permanent and seasonal guests, but they do have a grassy hill with sites to rent. The pool was wonderful. The grounds are beautiful right on a golf course. And the park is a Passport America. If you are anywhere near this area, try this park. We will definitely stay again when traveling down I75 in Florida.
Just arrived at travelers rest rv resort. In Dade city Fl. The road is a little narrow coming in . About three miles off of I 75. This is a Hidden Jewel . The spaces are large for our 41 foot coach and our tow. There is a 9 hole golf course. That my husband is going to love. Just 6.00 all day to play.
This is a gorgeous park. They have a nice 9 hole golf course that looks like fun. It was cold when we were there so I didn't play. Staff was very nice. Cable TV worked great. Lots of full timers in this park but nothing junkie. All the sites were well kept and the yards immaculate.
We absolutely loved our 7years at TR, so much to see and do. The staff were so helpful in the office, the maintenance guys kept the indoor spaces spotless, and the grounds impeccable. Great idea to upgrade Ray to manager as the park has made great strides since he took over.
