The atmosphere was pretty but not outlandish the entrance is by far the nicest part. We’re so glad we had nice weather and weren’t stuck inside! The staff were very cordial; you could tell they were all trained to interact with guests quite formally, though. I’m sure some people like this, but I find it disingenuous and uncomfortable, but it’s a norm for many nice restaurants. The dinners were beautiful aside from the dead flower in my dish but lackluster in terms of flavor, especially for around $35 per dish. I ordered the special shrimp with polenta and my husband ordered the salmon. Both were cool, bland, and small. The bread was by far the warmest and most flavorful part of our meals. We were both still hungry after eating, so we skipped dessert in favor of cooking more food at home. All in, it was fine, but not worth the cost just to eat on a deck. If you’re a city person who doesn’t mind dropping this much on a meal to feel like you’re in the woods, go for it. You’ll probably like it more than we did.
We did the tour of the 2 Frank Lloyd Wright homes on the property and the "tree house style dining pods" 4.5 course dinner. My wife and I have enjoyed many great restaurants but this by far has to have been the best. The tables in the pods sat 4 comfortably, among the trees this was a calming dining in nature experience the pods are screened in completely allowing a bug free experience. The food was fantastic and employees provided an amazing experience. Well worth the trip and well worth the higher cost.
My husband and I One year Anniversary Celebration. We went to this fabulous little Restaurant in Acme. They have little tree houses for private dining or you can dine in or outdoors on the deck. Hard to believe this place has been around since 2007 and never knew. Food was delicious! Can't wait to go back. Also I will be making a special trip just to have a dessert day as they all looked amazing! If there would be any downside or suggestion, it would to be for them to have some affordable dishes I feel others would like to experience the ambiance and cuisine this place has to offer.
Where else can you get a delicious meal with the most amazing view amongst the trees? Well let me introduce you to Tree Tops Restaurant in Acme, PA. You could not ask for a more gorgeous view than this restaurant which just so happens to be right above the Polymath Park Frank Lloyd House. You can take a tour of the house which is approx 1 and a half hours long. Make sure to make reservations to eat at the Treetops Restaurant right above it. If you come at night you are greeted by a lighted path to the restaurant. You can either dine on the bottom lower patio, in the restaurant which has a beautiful view from the windows or the upstairs patio that is situated in the Treetops. It's quite beautiful and peaceful you can hear the sweet sound of the birds. If you want an even more realistic experience you can dine in one of their really pretty tree house dining pods. Treehouse pod experience is between 75.00-150.00 person. It's quite an experience. Dress attire is business casual but I felt over dressed while most people were casual with jeans or shorts and summer shirt. They have quite a menu with wild caught salmon, chicken, pork, salads, and they even have Vegan, Vegetarian and gluten free options. It's a bit of a price tag but food was amazing and a great experience. They even bring you out with pate plate free from the chef. I had gluten free crackers with brie and compote. This is a family owned business which this was their home..This place is a definite must! 187 Evergreen Ln, Acme, PA 15610
We had a phenomenal experience in the treehouses for lunch tapas - book in advance and let them know of any dietary constraints, they perfectly handled ours and everything was delicious. The best experience, secluded and in nature. Service was great, they bring the wine and you can take with if you don't finish! We will definitely be back. Vegetarian options: Multiple no meat options Parking: Generous off road parking lot close by Wheelchair accessibility: Gravel parking lot, planks and boards to the tree house, and stairs to the top of the restaurant however there is a concrete circular ramp to get you to the top of the restaurant! Bathrooms inside are flat and just through the front upstairs door. Dietary restrictions: Beautifully handle dietary restrictions, call ahead. I needed no tomatoes, no dairy and a friend needed no shellfish.
Yummy food, friendly service, amazing environment. I had all gluten free brie with cranberries and toast, seared scallops, molten cake with caramel sauce. We also toured two of the Frank Lloyd Wright homes on the same street.
The ambiance can’t be matched. It’s absolutely beautiful and the private dining allows for a more intimate dining experience. However, food is nothing to get excited about. It’s lackluster at best and needed seasoning and salt. It came out cold. I’d never do dinner.
An unforgettable dining experience at Tree Tops. The unique environment is welcoming and comfortable, and the meal was fantastic. Server Linda is a gem. Highly recommended. We will visit again.
Dined in the treehouse. The food was fabulous. It was peaceful and relaxing. The service was excellent. Carly was so sweet. The chef came to make sure we were enjoying our meal. A truly wonderful, romantic experience!!! Dietary restrictions: They were excellent in making sure my food allergies were taken into consideration
We loved everything about Tree Tops Restaurant. The setting was excellent, the food is unbelievable, and the drinks were perfectly paired with every dish. We cannot wait to visit again.
