I wish I could give this place 10 stars, seriously. I came into Trek to fix a flat tire on my bike that kept going flat with an air leak. When I walked in, a young guy whose name started with a D greeted me and told me they could definitely fix it. I had to wait around 20 minutes to be seen by Jerry who found the hole, showed it to me, then changed it all out! Ian rang me up and the total cost of fixing a hole in the inner tube was 27 dollars and something cents. It was 10 dollars for the new inner air tube and a little more than 17 dollars for the labor of them installing it. Everyone here is super nice, and the store is fully stocked and well organized. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to buy anything bike related, or need service on pedal bikes/electric bikes.
Always a good experience! The service was performed well - level 2 this time and my bike runs so smoothly, shifting nice, nicely cleaned drive train, inspected and fined tuned. Trek North Country will always be my go-to for my local bike shop!
**Review for Trek North County** Trek North County is not just a great bike shop for repairs and service, but also the best place to get a new bike. The staff is friendly and helpful, with a special shoutout to Ryan and Ian for always going the extra mile. Even when I came in just before they closed, they still helped me with a smile. I highly recommend them to anyone, whether you need a tune-up or a brand-new bike!
I was in town on vacation when the crank arm fell of my bike I brought it in and Gino and the crew were beyond helpful. The minute I brought the bike in they were on it and they were helping me get my crank arm back on it. Gino also helped me file a warranty claim on my carbon fiber frame the service so great they never tried to sell me up on something I did not need and in the end I bought a new bike from them because I was so happy with their service . I could have bought a new bike when I got back in town but I was so happy with the help that I made sure I bought from them.
Drew was awesome and helpful. He was knowledgeable without being pushy. The San Marcos store had killer deals. The service guys were helpful and had a quick turnaround time. I wasn’t looking forward to going to a bike store to spend money on a “tune up” but it ended up being a great experience and cheaper than I thought!
Ian, our salesman, was GREAT. We brought our grandson, Atlas, into the store to look at bikes for his fifth birthday. Ian discussed sizing and we found the perfect first bike for him. He got us a great discounted price for the bike and we added training wheels and a bell. And then Ian gave our little guy a box with stickers, a burrito bike handle bag, and a T-shirt. The bike mechanic then install everything for us and we were ready to take it for a test ride in the parking lot. Atlas' first time ever on a bike .... he was doing great by that evening, riding in the neighborhood with his sisters. Thanks, Trek GUYS for all the help and for making it a great 5th birthday. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Andrew in service explained everything well and I never felt upsold. Ryan at the front helped me find some local trails and his advice was accurate I rode just after leaving the shop. I also got my bike back quickly from service.
Very friendly staff, specifically Drew who helped my daughter and myself, pick out a few items we needed for our bikes. He even offered to teach us how to remove a tire for repair. You don't get such personal service like this these days. Definitely the bike place to go.
Excellent customer service. Very helpful and quick turn around, I expected my bike to take 24 hours as they mentioned but it only took a few hours and it was ready. Highly recommend.
I was very impressed with the staff at this store. They were all knowledgeable, helpful and patient, especially as I was deciding between several styles of bikes. Ryan went above and beyond to make sure the bikes I tried were safe and comfortable to ride, every time. He answered all my questions, helped me consider different options and never pressured me at all. Everyone there was a pleasure to work with and you can tell they enjoy their job. And I absolutely LOVE my new bike!!!! I will definitely recommend this store to others and come back for future bike purchases!
