Tres Amigos Convenience Stores opened for business in Menard in April 1993. The partnership quickly recognized the opportunity to serve other small town customers and in September 1994 we opened our second store in Eden. November 1997 saw the opening of Big Lake and Christoval in February 1998.
In December of 1999 Mike & Trudy Hennings became the sole owners of the company. While we sold Big Lake at that time, we added Ballinger in 2002, Water Valley in 2005, Sterling City in 2012, San Angelo,Sonora in 2013, and Coleman in 2016.
Tres Amigos attributes its success to having that small town attitude. Taking care of employees who in turn take care of our customers is what we do. We pride ourselves on having clean restrooms and a full line of convenience items.
