Great place. Loved being close the the creek it was so therapeutic. If you are looking for showers and laundry facilities this is not for you. We don't need those and to be honest the location and small site more than made up for that. There are trains but again we were not bothered by them. Would happily go there again. The owners are so lovely and helpful. They also off long term stays. Couldn't think of a better snug place to hunker down.
Quaint little rv park. Had the best time talking to ray, the owner. We will go back!!
Well organized and managed place! The owners are wonderful people! This place is beautiful with a creek that runs behind it into the great big lake next door! I absolutely want to come back to this place!
Very accommodating, great internet, full hookups and a down-to-earth couple that keep this place dialed in nicely. The trees shade most of the camper spots and there's a nice creek flow to dip your feet in. Thanks to the hosts for a great place to get away!
As others have complaind, there are trains roaring past 24/7 this is all just part of living or visiting this beautiful area. The RV park is kept up and maintained beautifully, grass and flowers tastefully dot this park and a cristle clear creek adds to its beauty. The only down side to this beautiful park is the owners have a tendency to look down on you if you don't appeare to have much money and or your equipment is sub pare in there eye's you won't be given a space dispight your ability to pay. The rates are reasonable how ever they offer no amenities past basic hook up. water, electric, sewer they do not offer showers, cable TV / internet or any type of play ground or fishing in the creek. Unless you want to go down the street to the rec area that offers a boat ramp, fishing and swimming area. The couple dose allow mail to be delivered at there address for those who stay the season. All in all they are very nice ppl and Ray Millard works very hard to keep the place clean and beautiful for all of there guests to enjoy, for those who are allowed in anyway.
Really nice place to stay out away from sandpoint. We had a wiring meltdown in the dash and had to stay for a week to make repairs. The hosts were more than understanding. There is a community boat launch across the street and the creek behind every site. Good pricing.
Do NOT stay in this campground unless you are stone deaf. The railroad tracks are ~150 feet away and the trains run ALL NIGHT LONG. And they don’t just rumble on by which might be tolerable. Because there are some roads crossing the tracks they blow their horns. LOUDLY. ALL NIGHT LONG. In addition, there is a highway even closer than the RR tracks which is fairly loud in between the trains coming by. The RV spaces are so narrow that in many on them you can’t fit your picnic table next to your RV. Our table had to be at the back end of the RV. On the plus side the grounds, while small, are pretty with a creek running along the side. Bottom line, the train noise made our one night stay intolerable.
Poor internet service coverage or I would have given it 5 stars. Occasional train too. However, very few parks open here in the winter 2 and no age restriction on rvs... Management grad and laid back. Only for winter use as the place has a waiting list for summer
Has a fantastic setting....right on river ....right across street from lake....but$360- $425/month for a parking spot just so I have the option to pay for electric..thats the price of an apt n I'm bringing the apt.....plus there is absolutely NO internet u have to go across the street n right at waters edge to get 4G
Very nice and clean and quiet. Train is very close, other side of street. Hope it doesn't use whistle at night.
