I called yesterday afternoon to make a sick appointment for my toddler who was recently in the hospital with RSV. The receptionist said his usual Dr doesn’t see patients on Tuesdays, but she could get me with Dinah Perdue the following day at 11am. I drove an hour for this appointment, only to be told nothing was scheduled and was asked who scheduled the appointment. When have you ever called to make an appointment and gotten the name of the receptionist? None of the 3 receptionist would admit who made the mistake. They said they didn’t have anything available until that afternoon to come back but we live an hour away and it isn’t doable. Said to take him to urgent care. What kind of DRs office does that? Absolutely unprofessional and I’ll never schedule another appointment here.

I give them one star since I can’t give 0. Unfortunately, the NP’s are completely incompetent. One NP said my son’s spleen was enlarged and was having a recurrence of Mono. Wrote him out of Basketball and PE. She wanted to retest him for Mono until I informed her that Mono will continue to show positive throughout his life after his first diagnosis. She said she had to “Google” it. F/U with Jackie. Jackie explained there was “no way” my son could have a recurrence and that his issues were viral. Duh. Which is why he continues to have the same symptoms every time his immune system takes a hit! She spoke to me as if I’m an uneducated country bumpkin. Where is their continuing education?! Where is their patient care? She wanted to throw her hands up at the expense of my son. Do yourself a favor and drive a bit farther to find a PCP! Especially if you value the health of you or your loved ones!

We love the dr & nurses our son sees there and the normal lady at the front desk, but this new or fill in lady that was there about 12:50 today could make TA loose patients. Especially self pay. No discount.  Please lady, learn some respect for those of us that help this company help you pay your bills.

Dr. Bess and all of the staff at Tri Area are amazing. In all my years I've never been to an office that cares so much for their patients, the staff and pharmacy always take the time to make sure you are taken we'll care of.

Dr. Bess is Amazing, I was extremely happy with how nice he was and how he took the time to explain everything to me. His staff was very helpful and kind.

Went here for 6 years and was seen by Doc.Bess...good guy and doctor.Was turned away permanently for using a curse word in front of a condescending female chauvinistic Doctor who sees my kids once in a blue moon.There are good people and doctors here.Unfortunately Just not all of them.This is the only place on the mountain to get Medical help..and they treat you like that.

The level of care that I have received at Tri-Area Community Health has far exceeded my expectations.  I highly recommend this health care facility.

Big waste of time, they don't care, the doctors will not give out antibiotics for anything
