Beautiful place to live but former owners have cut the river water supply to it so its stagnate. I wouldnt swim in it or allow any kids or dogs in that water. It use to be beautiful and the river otters use to come by and play in the lagoon. Not any more. Its too yucky. Hope the new owner makes it nice again. Noteworthy details: Lots of wildlife. Foxes play from dusk to dawn so watch out for your pets. Geese are always here so please dont let your dogs chase them. Just be respectful of the natural environment and pack out what you packed in. Enjoy! Have fun!

Very beautiful resort by the river. Has really improved a lot, the improvements show and make for a very nice trip right next to the lovely Trinity river.
We really enjoyed our 1 week camping trip! Loved our tent spot right on the river. We really had a great time and will certainty be back! We got a secluded spot and the resort hosts were kind and very awesome people! The lady has 2 baby goats that were just so adorable.
Staff is so friendly and helpful. We we're floating the Trinity river and missed our take out. It was well past dark when we knocked on their door. They were very welcoming and gave us lift to recover our vehicle and trailer up river. Looking forward to staying with them in the future. Wonderful people. Thank You!
Beautiful! Lots to do; Fishing, horse shoes, water guns, paddle boating and kayaking. A great getaway for all age groups, our kids had a blast! New owners are adding so much, can’t wait to see what is there when we return!
Went up there with my sister to camp for the night, it was so peaceful, amazing getaway. Saw deer, geese, and a lot of beautiful wildlife. There wasn't much cell phone service, but surprisingly that made the experience even betterthere was wifi. Definitely my number 1 spot for this summer, can't wait to go back again. 10/10. 5 stars forsure.
Hidden paradise off the beaten path. Loved watching the deer pass through in the evenings. We saw a bald eagle and many different kinds of ducks. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The park was resently purchased in May of 2017 so there looks to be many improvements going on. Read something about the drinking water, found out it was monitored and tested daily and monthly since it is a under the state park jurisdiction as are all RV parks under the state jurisdiction it tasted refreshing and cold. We loved the place and can't wait to go back.
Camp host Dan was very accommodating and the whole staff really cared about helping their guest have a great experience. Clean bathrooms and beautiful scenery are a few of the reasons I'd definitely stay here again.
My boyfriend and i went camping here a week ago and really enjoyed our time here . Its beautiful. We had a picnic next to the water and soaked up the sun. Its under new management also . They are very welcoming and make you feel at home . I highly recommend the glamping set up for a relaxing getaway and great spots for fishing too
