At first glance, Triple Z Threadz may look like classic quality embroidered vintage pearl snap shirts- until you notice a Sasquatch wearing a wristwatch, and the ever-popular Kong vs. Jaws (aka the ultimate battle of the universe).
Triple Z Threadz carefully selects the coolest vintage pearl snap shirts, embroiders them in Austin, TX with our original designs, making each shirt a one-of-a-kind and eco-friendly as each shirt is upcycled.
Gaining quick cult-like popularity since its beginnings in 2005 in an Austin artisan market, Triple Z Threadz can now be found in Limbo Jewelry’s flagship store in the heart of Austin’s South Congress (1604 S Congress Ave), and at festivals all over the country.

This place is amazing. Great style at fair prices. Also, they are more than willing to let you shop or help you find that perfect fit. Will definitely be hitting this place up again next time I’m in Austin.
Love this store! You have to visit in person to truly find the cool stuff. My husband n i found a shirt embroidered with an amazing graphic but mediums were hard to find. I asked the lady at check out if maybe there were mediums in back and she went to check for us hoping just as much as us tht they did! And she found some! Now we have shirts that match without being exact matches! The fact they reuse clothes to create awesome fun shirts is the big cherry on top for me! So many big clothing stores throw away a ton of old merch instead of donating so its nice to see a place reuse instead of producing more waste! Shirts are not cheap but some of tht goes to the artists too and i can appreciate that! We will be back next Austin trip!
This place is amazing. Their staff and selection are unique and awesome. I picked up a few of their signature pearl snaps. See pics. Pro Tip: They bill under Limbo Jewelry so don't accidentally report it as fraud and be waiting on a new debit card like we did. Sorry about that Triple Z
I have been poking my head in this place every time I come to Austin for 3 or 4 years. Every time, I am sorely tempted by their delightfully irreverent shirts. This time I gave into temptation and I have no regrets. Their thrift-shop-upcycling model means that I now have a truly one-of-a-kind souvenir of this weird and wonderful city.
Moved our son this weekend into an apartment close to UT true. Had an excellent meal next door at South Congress Cafe true. Found this wallet wedged into the seat cushions maybe true. Traced it to TZT true. Lots of cool stuff, guys leave your other behind as they will not approve of half of what you will want to buy very true.
Such a great gift shop, spent way too much time in here cracking up at the selections!
One of Austin's best shirt places, if that's a thing. What you buy here will only become more loved over time.
Very cool custom shirt store, with other selections of art and decoration. Laid-back fun vibe, colorful, and friendly staff.
Love this places Pearl snaps. I think I'm on my 4th from here. Definitely an Austin vibe if there is such a thing. Definitely check them out over time if you're a fan as they always have new stuff coming in. If you have no idea what this place is about, go in and learn. It's hilarious and fun. Pro tip, if you go in wearing one of their Pearl snaps you get a discount on your purchase.
Unique merchandise, beautiful custom jewelry, and a fun atmosphere. The owner was lovely. You will definitely find lots of treasures here!
