Tropical Palms is a nice place! I spent a good deal my vacation there due to covid exposure. I opted to stay close to my tiny house and avoid exposing anyone else should I have contracted the virus. Fortunately, I didn't. However, I had a lot of time to walk around the grounds and got to know it quite well, both the Cottages as well as the RV Park. Nice and neat and clean, lots of people from all over would stop and share their vacation experience or information about where they were from, the RV Park was nicely laid out, they maintain a certain set of rules that lent itself to socializing but not loud raucous partying. Everything I requested I received immediately. The Cottages or tiny house are well appointed and comfortable as well as set up so you feel like you have a lot of privacy even though you're close to your neighbor. I think it's a great place and I certainly would stay there again. The location for Disney, Celebration, grocery stores and amenities was excellent.
We stayed at Tropical Palms RV Resort to test our unit after repairs. It's close to home in case we had problems. Turns out we really liked it there. The spots were large enough to have breathing room. There was a picnic table and in good shape. All the hookups worked very well. Good water pressure. All the staff was terrific! Kathy was the best. She was very sweet, friendly and had everything ready for us. Nice amenities and useful like the pool, shower houses and gym. Great clubhouse with a store, clean, with Internet if you need it. They also kept up with us with text about what was going on, like weather problems, pool closure due to lightning and activities. Good area to walk around and it is walking distance to Old Town. Terrific phone signal with T-Mobile. We also picked up a bunch of over-the-air TV channels. We're planning to go back and use Tropical Palms just to get away and relax.
There is so much to love about Tropical Palms! It is in an excellent location for visiting the Disney parks. The cottages are so adorable, comfortable, spacious and immaculately cleaned. The service here cannot be beat either. We requested towels and in just minutes housekeeping brought us what we needed. I can confidently say that housekeeping is really on the ball here! Will absolutely make this my go-to place when visiting the theme parks!
Clean, nice bathhouses, overall a really nice RV resort. Convenient to Disney if that's what you're looking for. Old Town is within walking distance to the campground. Nearby activities: Disney, Old Town, International Drive, Two food truck lots each with over 50 food trucks. Safety: Guarded gate
Have been staying here for the past 2 years off and on RV while working. Top notch compared to anywhere else I’ve stayed. Front office staff is professional and accommodating. Have all the amenities of a resort including weekly events pool parties, food trucks and other fun stuff for families. 24/7 security and gates. 10 minutes from Disney and located roughly an hour and 10 minutes from the east coast and gulf. Quiet, fun and convenient. #1 choice in the central Florida area. First time leaving a review anywhere, place is worth it.
My favorite RV Resort near Disney. I use my Adventure membership with Thousand Trails to stay here for up to 21 days at a time for free. Best investment I ever made because I full-time in my RV. The campground is gorgeous with a great pool, fun activities and so much more. Perfect location.Rooms: 5/5
I booked for a couple days here. We’re driving in from Houston area. We had a blowout along the way and called the front desk we needed to know what the check in procedures are as we’re coming in. We were told that after 10PM is “quiet time” and you can’t get in. We have been to several parks and never dealt with that. We explained what happened to us. The front desk said he will talk to the security guard and worst case they have power hook ups in the front. We showed up and the security guy said no one told him anything. The power hook up they were referring to was literally a 110 plug. So we had to dry camp in the parking lot till the next day so we can check in. The guy told us they open at 7am. They didn’t show up till 730 so we had to stay out there till they got in. The streets were so narrow you can barely fit our 40’ camper in and lucky for us the slot in front of us was empty which allowed us to pull thru or we would have to do several point turns. The guy that cut the grass that morning nicked my water house too. Definitely won’t be coming back
We have been staying at Tropical Palms for many years when we are on vacation. The cottages are always very clean and well maintained. It is always quiet and a great place when traveling with pets. Recommend highly.Hotel highlightsGreat view, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly
cute cottages it offers Kitchen. it already has utensils. 2bedrooms. fits at least 7 people. we used their pool. it has a laundry area. it was a quiet area. u can rent a golf cart
Staying with my mother inlaw in one of the cottages. The rooms are nice, one king sized master bed room, and a 2 twin bed guest room, as well as a full size pull out couch makes for a comfortable stay for family visiting. There are 2 pools, and plenty of this for the kids, as well as well within walking distance to "old Town road," a small amusement park and shops.
