Tropical Smoothie Cafe

We wanted to enjoy our smoothies, but there were strings of plastic cloth like fibers throughout the entire thing. I counted at least 24 pieces in my smoothies alone before I decided to stop drinking it. What a shame. I can deal with some inconsistencies, but this was far from that. We really love Tropical smoothie,but I guess we'll just stick to our usual location. Please make sure you all are rinsing all of the containers not just the blenders.

Today and today only did I come in at 9am. There was 1 young lady who was on the phone. The tables, floors, chairs and benches were really dirty. There was no restock of napkins and she didn't get my order completely right probably cause she was so into her convo. Let's do better please

I’m giving two stars because the staff was friendly. But my smoothie was absolutely horrible. I go to the location in Winston all time, and not once has my smoothie ever been this bad. I always get the chai banana boost, and both times I’ve ordered from this location my smoothie was completely flavorless, other than the after taste of plato. Not sure if they have the portions wrong or what but won’t be ordering from this location again.

Heckin delicious smoothies. Gigantic size and just oh so refreshing. I've never been disappointed by the sandwiches or wraps either. Always fresh and appetizing.

Like other reviewers have stated, customer service is awful, and extremely slow. Came back 8 months later to give another shot, terrible customer service yet again. Cashier taking my order was casually chit chatting on a personal call the entire time she was trying to take my order, and making my smoothies. Totally absent minded.

My boyfriend and I are regulars at this location...well, were. After what we experienced tonight, we will not be returning to this location. My boyfriend accidentally spilled his smoothie under the table where we were sitting. He asked the employee for a couple of things so that I could share my smoothie with him and get our area cleaned up a little, and the employee was rude to him for absolutely no reason! It was the employee who looks like she's of middle-eastern/asian descent. She looks like she's in her 20's. I believe her name was Chillka or Chika, but I'm not quite sure. She then proceeded to come over and clean up the mess while we were still sitting there dining. I called her out on her rude behavior but she never apologized or owned up to it. We work too hard to be mistreated at any place where we spend our money.

Customer service is TERRIBLE. I waited 30 minutes for two wraps and it wasn’t even busy. I ordered two smoothies and the girl put so much ice in them they wouldn’t even blend. She started the blender THREE TIMES! She couldn’t even pour it from the blender to the cup. I told her there was too much ice and I would like her to remake it. Another employee suggested adding more water to it and if I still didn’t like it I didn’t need to drink it. I said I did not want more water added because it already had too much ice and the flavor would be non existent. Finally the girl started to remake the smoothie from scratch and still put so much ice the smoothie would not even pour out of the blender into the cup. I finally after 35 mins asked for a refund and the three girls there told me they could not do a refund because their manager wasn’t there. I said that was unacceptable and so one of them called the manager. She told me I couldn’t get a refund since there was no receipt so I suggested she put the two smoothies on a gift card because I definitely wasn’t drinking the garbage they made nor was I paying for it. I will never go back to this location. The manager was rude on the phone, the employees were rude and totally incompetent. ZERO out of 5

Love it! Great food, love the watermelon mojito smoothie when it's in season. Clean restaurant, great staff, get you in and out when ordering in. I get the Chipotle Chicken club sandwich every time, this time I tried the Blimey Limey smoothie, and it's really good.

Awful experience. My flat bread was cold, bananas hard as rock, and the customer service just completely lacked. When I asked/mentioned the banana issue and food being cold, the person helping me just says “have a good day” Don’t come here.

Under new management and the smoothies are back to the most amazing taste ans quality! The new manager is super sweet and always greets us with a warm smiling face! The smoothies taste amazing, Tropical smoothie has always been my favorite and now I’ve found my favorite location
