We have always liked Tropical Smoothie. The wraps and salads I love the kale slaw! are good, and the smoothies are what they are known for. This one does a lot of take out, and they are efficient.
I've only been once for smoothies so I can't testify to the food they serve, but the smoothies we got were on point and the staff was super kind. We will definitely be going back when we move into the area in the next few months.
I went about a month ago and said on my order I'd go in to get it. They had just opened and when I went to enter the doors were locked. An employee saw me and said there weren't enough workers and I had to drive around. Super inconvenient and there wasn't a note on the door. Today 5/11 I ordered the same way hoping to eat somewhat healthy for lunch. I got there and at least there's a sign this time saying due to a staffing shortage you had to drive around. I proceeded to drive around and there were 8-10 cars ahead of me. Screw that! You can keep your not so smoothie! How about putting a sign that says "lobby only open for pick up orders"! I won't be back!!
Honestly the smoothies were really bad. I have been to other Tropical Smothie stores and have had excellent smoothies but this location does not make them well at all! I had the blueberry bliss and I don't remember what my partner had but we both disliked our drinks. They tasted very watery like very little fruit was used. My partner asked them if they could remake them because we didn't like them. They did remake them but it wasn't much better at all and we didn't end up drinking them. Very dissaponting and I hope in the future they will be able to make them better.
Disappointing, placed an order and waited 30 minutes for my food. I understand it was lunch time but no food was being made in that time. I also asked how much longer til my food was ready and got the nastiest look for asking. High school kids with no management is my best guess on whats going on. I wouldn't recommend this location.
Rude staff, mediocre food, inaccurate hours posted. Also, my smoothie wasn’t fully blended — still chunks of nuts and frozen fruit. Need I say anymore?
Customer service was aweful. Every time I asked for something I was met with a gruff " we're out." She never said hello or please or thank you. They were out of the promotional starfuit smoothie and didn't bother to offer any suggestions. I explained I hadn't been there before so I would need a moment and did come back they were out of the ingredients for two of the smoothies.. after finally coming to an apparent one size fits all $8 compromise, I my smoothie was leaking everywhere to the point the guy set it down and walked off... I had to clean that big mess containing blueberries then I noticed the straw was way too short and told .. we're out... smoothie from what I did get to drink of it was alright
Tasty smoothies, I like to try a different flavor each time I come. The Bahama Mama is my favorite so far. I wish there were some coconut themed combinations. My daughters and their friends also like coming here.
Ordered through the drive through and was told they aren't making food. Was stuck between two cars for 40 minutes. After the car Infront of me abandoned their order, I decided to leave while I could. The front doors were locked when I tried to park and go in for my order. 0/10
First of all I ordered with the app for curbside got there before the time. Waited 15mins after the set pick up time tried to cancel the order due to needing to go back to work. App didn't let me cancel and was told to call the store about it. Called and she let me know that her store doesn't offer curbside but the app saids it does. That ok with me I'm not that lazy that I couldn't go in and get my food myself. That's an issue they need to fix within the company itself. The food I got was fine but the drinks I got looks like it has fruit and what not in them but when I take a sip it taste like ice with an essence of fruit. I thought it could just be my drink but I also ask my co workers if her drink was ok. She said the same thing. Now I'm writing this review on my lunch break at my desk. Wasted my time and money for this? The place is called tropical smoothie for crying out loud and with this outcome this I won't be coming back.
