This is your one-stop page for theatrical performing arts in Truckee, California! We are a new organization in our second year, dedicated to bringing opportunities for local actors to grace our stage in full dramatic and musical productions. In 2015, we presented five plays and musicals, including "The Crucible", "The King and I", and our first youth theater show, "Into the Woods, Jr." 2016 is off to a roaring start as we launch "Bye Bye Birdie" and plan for our summer Regional Park concert, "Broadway at the Park". We invite local actors and volunteers to GET INVOLVED!
The mission of Truckee Community Theater is to create opportunities for community participation in theatrical offerings of the highest possible quality presented to audiences at affordable prices. We are dedicated to providing theatrical training to residents of all ages through plays, workshops, camps, and classes, to offer arts education that promotes life long learning, to collaborate with other local arts organizations, and to celebrate the power of theater to illuminate our common humanity.
