Great community of local pickleball players, and fun to see who will drop in from out of town. Great facility!

Wonderful pool for little swimmers and nice hot shower. Staff was very friendly and efficient.

Great pool 25 yards by 10 lanes. A little cloudy. Locker rooms small but adequate. Showers warm. Nice play pool with water slides. Inexpensive single use fee.

No memberships for locals, closed on the weekends, the rec needs a reservation. Honestly why is the management still employed here and why are they collecting our tax money? Essentially this building is a giant day care for children.

pickle ball is nothing more than a temporary net set up on a slick gym floor. For any serious pickle ball player, this is a joke. Concluded this from a picture,as they don’t answer their phones, & after going through prompts all it showed was one pic & no way to get times, or reservations. Lame

The pool is heated and nice but they close the ENTIRE thing for lessons from 12-3. Super lame. Staff is always condescending and slightly rude, especially if you have children.

The rec center is ok, but in the rush to add expensive new amenities to Truckee, the master plan is falling a bit short of actually serving the residents of the area. Classes are redundant and expensive for what they are. Truckee's housing crisis means it is almost impossible to recruit and retain quality imstructors. The pool is just one big red flag. Flooding, cramped locker rooms, broken showers make before and after pretty unpleasant. Very few lap lanes that are almost always crowded. Last time I was there, staff member was eating in the pool. Gross. Love to swim, but not here.

Great place to chill-out.

A great recreation center open to all, indoor swimming pools, indoor track, gym, basketball and pickleball!!! Many classes year round.

Whatever your appetite for getting in shape they have something for you, they are fully open and offering a variety of classes and sports programs to chose from.
