I love how small and family friendly this place is! Reserving online was very easy so when we arrived we were all set. Admission for an adult is $10.00 and for my 4 & 11 year old it was $8.00 & $9.00. It was only $9.00 total for all 3 of us to rent ice skates. I did see others bring thier own as well! The ice skates were actually in good condition despite what other people have said. I would love to go back in the evening just to skate with the outdoor lights they have set up. It's a cute place to have fun as a family or even going on a date! We will definitely be returning!
Came here during winter holidays with my kids. On the positive, staff is very friendly and the price is reasonable. Negatives: skates are old, place is relatively small and ice quality is pretty bad. We likely visited during peak times and it was very crowded with some reckless heavy weight skaters.
this review is just based on the online booking system which is terrible. very annoying & troublesome to book online & there is no other option. you have to go back & forth through the calendar a million times just to try to see what is even available & then redo it all for each person you want to book for. good luck trying to do it from your iphone. and there's no one to answer the phone to help it's just a recording telling you to book online. hopefully the place is good after the trouble booking... will update later.
Awesome little rink! A few more warming areas outside, like a propane heater or two, would make it 5 stars. Nice people, reasonable price, fun for all
We love this ice rink!
Terrible customer service on front of the kids. Those two men should not work with people. Wasn’t able to do the money return when kids decided not to icescating here. Most terrible experience we ever had in Truckee, unfortunately!!! Do not bring your family with little kids to Truckee Ice Rink!!!

This is the rink where our grandsons play team hockey. It is a well managed rink. It's a great place for the kids and adults alike.
It was so beautiful and my daughter really enjoyed ice skating
Easy going place to go for skating and very friendly staff looking forward to go skating again this year and take some lessons
