Very clean facility. Easy parking. Superb gift shop. All the personnel were friendly and professional! Came down for a family member’s emergency surgery. The nurse kept us updated every 2 hours. He will be in recovery soon.
I had a small procedure this week and couldn't have been happier with the entire care team. All were so friendly and attentive to ensuring my comfort and healing. This was my first procedure at this hospital and I was very impressed!
I came here for a stress test. The staff is very nice and respectful. Everyone from registering to the actual technician and nurses administering the radioactive contrast dye for the lexiscan of my heart, were very thorough in explaining what I would experience. If you need a stress test, I highly recommend Trumbull Regional Medical Center.
My fiance is in the ER there, has been since 4AM it is now 1PM. She is sick, in pain, alone and scarred. I can tell from half way across the country she is dehydrated badly. She is suffering and I can do nothing. Contacting office I am told computers are down, and they don't know what they are doing with her, and offered no other option but wait. It does not take a computer to set up and IV or explain why they can not. Or to explain why no treatment has been offered at all. I fear she will struggle herself out of there without treatment because why suffer when nothing seems being done at all. I understand busy, and issues and all that can go on but this is extremely upsetting and infuriating. I wish never have to leave such, but with no other means MAYBE this will be seen and someone will do something for her before she worsens.
Absolute worst service I’ve received in a hospital. The only reason I’m even giving this place two stars is because they were quick to get me through registration and into a room. After that everything was down hill. The RN who wanted to run my vitals and ekg didn’t seem like she knew where to attach anything. I than told her urgently I needed IV fluids because my vision was starting to go out and my heart rate was as high as 158 at one point. This same nurse was in no rush and when she finally came back to collect a blood sample and run an iv she blew out my vein. I am a very healthy individual and my veins are clear as day to the naked eye. A few hours later another nurse came in telling me they needed me to “piss in a cup” and when I asked where the restroom was she “didn’t know where the restroom was”. At this point I wanted to discharge myself. I ended up getting transferred to st joes Warren to be kept over night for observation. Where their bed side manor and nurses actually knew what they were doing.
Went in for what i thought was a heart attack and sat for 4 hours and no one told me anything or checked on me at all. I have never had such a bad experience at any hospital. Then was told i was getting a test and no one could tell me what it was for. Will never return to this hospital again woll go elsewhere. Signed myself out on an AMA.
Everyone who treated me was very kind and responsive to my pain. I was treated fairly promptly and made comfortable. They did some tests. When I got my final diagnosis from the nurse, it was not related to the reason I came to the er. And I never saw the dr again to ask questions.
I literally came with a gunshot wound, waited forever took forever to give me something for pain.. gave me some medicine that I use for CRAMPS when the pain I’m experiencing is way beyond that. They unwrapped my wound, for a X-ray the lady came in and I asked her could she clean it and re wrap it.. she told me she can’t clean it but she can wrap it so I asked her so you don’t have any cleaning products for my gunshot wound? Mind you they had my wound unwrapped and had me with a blanket over it and all, she told me NO you have to do that at home yourself with whatever the other hospital used we don’t have that.. as a hospital why wouldn’t you have something to clean a wound ? Isn’t that why people come there after being shot? So I asked her can she wrap my arm I was shot twice she told me “I can give you the stuff and you can do it when you go home” so then I’m just looking like… ummm isn’t this your job! So then I finally get pushed to the lobby I barely can walk I ask for crutches, they say “well you already signed discharge papers next time you come to the hospital just ask before you sign” like?????? Ummmm how am I supposed to leave like this? Idk I’ve never seen anything like this. Idk if they were racist or what but I’ve never had a hospital act like this, if my wound is infected she is 100% responsible because she refused to clean it after unwrapping a clean and wrapped wound. Then after sitting there she finally came out and said “WELL HOW TALL are you” And had someone bring the crutches bc COMMON SENSE must’ve clicked to her like ummmm I was supposed to offer those anyway being that were pushing her around in a wheelchair… I was treated very poorly these hospitals really do not care about u! This was my first time ever experiencing going thru this horrible trauma and to get treated like that is crazy
I wanna thank Ryan and Jenney in the er department I my son went there for his breathing and had to be life flighted to Akron children's hospital due to his oxygen getting low. When I say they went over and beyond they really did they checked on him every chance they got and Jenney even stayed 2 in a half hrs past her clock out time just to make sure he didn't get worse. I've never seen Dr's there that caring like they were. Thank yall so much and we will definitely be bk to see yall again when Cyrus is feeling better. I can't appreciate yall enough....
I’ll preface this by saying I’m a nurse. When my son was a baby, he had a bad fall. I, in a panic, took him to the ER here. I told them of a possible head injury. We waited for an hour in the waiting room. When back, they didn’t have proper supplies for VITAL SIGNS. After over 3 hours of waiting, we took an ambulance to Akron’s Children’s. They diagnosed him with a skull fracture and brain bleed. Had the brain bleed been more severe, my son would have died at Trumbull. They were totally out of line. Go to St Joes down the road. Do NOT come here for a real emergency. They are disorganized and cannot even triage correctly.
