Trumpet behavioral health has some of the most kind helpful and energetic staff! They have always made me feel welcomed and guided me through the RBT process from start to finish.
I wanted to believe in this company, but I am unable to after what I have experienced with them. When this company first started providing ABA Therapy to my son, it was working. I was seeing improvements in my son's behavior. However, as time went on, I started experiencing several disappointments with this company. They have single points of failure within their company, meaning if that single point of failure is out sick, the company has nothing to offer to paying customers. It got to a point where they did not have staff to fulfill their duties. My son's ABA Therapy came to halt for several months. Once they finally fulfilled their staff, therapy started again. Therapy has not gone well since they started attempting to fulfill their duties to paying customers. More cancelled appointments for my son due to the single points of failure I mentioned earlier. The icing on the cake was when this company called me to inform me they had exposed my son to COVID. They didn't bother to mention I was also exposed to COVID and I had to start asking questions to figure out what had happened. They were unwilling to give me a straight forward answer of who exposed my son and I to COVID. I would avoid this company if you or someone in your family is in need of ABA Therapy. Extremely understaffed, I am unsure why. They also "warned" me if I lowered my son's therapy hours to make him feel more comfortable, they would "drop" my son. Red flags everywhere. Fair warning here.
This is not the ABA company you want to be at, employee or kid. As a former employee of about three months I felt like walking out the door at least 3 times every day. I was looking for a new job within a week of being hired. They don't care about their employees, when I had to go in office to study when I first started I didn't know where to sit and waited in their " office" for almost an hour with no acknowledgement, finally I made way to the break room to finish studying with no internet or help getting what I needed. I was stressed out. What a way to start a job. I left because they sent me as a brand new RBT unsupported, to a new child's house who had escalated behavior. Boy did it escalate! I had no idea how to cope with the absolute horrendous situation unfolding before me. I reached out for help. There was no answer. I was left for three hours unsupported by staff. I finally went into office on the same day and again my presence was not even acknowledged until my full day was practically over at 5:00. When I left and brought up my concerns I went unacknowledged for the last time. This was indicative of how my time went at this center. I was beyond miserable. I was made to feel stupid almost every day, it was nearly unbearable for me. I found strength, and comfort at KEYSTONE ACHIEVEMENTS!!! I cannot say how much i have felt looked after, cared for, and appreciated at this center. It's not only me Keystone seems to be a haven for RBTs who have been abused by other centers. The owners, Todd and his lovely wife, the floor leads, the BCBAs, the RBTs and everyone in-between are a true blessing. I am so happy I made the switch. Happy employees, happy kids!!
Our daughter has been going to Trumpet for over a year now and her progress has been nothing short of amazing. She loves her care team and her social behaviors have improved tremendously. The staff are professional, dedicated and experienced. We are extremely picky parents and she is our only child. We researched several therapy centers and Trumpet has proven to be the best decision we could have made for her. We highly recommend them!
Such an amazing place to work! The staff is so welcoming to teaching other new staff and to prioritize the kiddos in all they do! I couldn't have chosen a better place to become an RBT and start my career with.
They are understaffed to the point they can't make a program for a kiddo. They have one person in charge of every plan right now. I'm going to try and stick it out because my son loves his therapists but the communication is horrible. When you take your kiddo to the center and they tell you they don't have anyone to watch him that's a bad sign.
My daughter has been receiving ABA therapy there just over a year. I am extremely pleased with the progress made. She has multiple therapist that have done a wonderful job, Best of all she loves to go and I never worry about whether or not she’s safe. Not sure about some of these other reviews due to the fact that I usually am told I’m pretty picky and not always realistic on expectations.
A dedicated team of professionals in Colorado Springs dedicated to the children and families they support - they partner with parents, educators, and healthcare providers to achieve successful outcomes.
My son has been here for over 6 months and the experience has been great. The therapist and clinicians work together to give him the attention and proffesionalism my son needs. My wife and I are very please with his outcome to this moment and we are sure he willl continue exceling.
This company's corporate approach to care is harmful to both clients and workers there. They choose to have a revolving door for new employees rather than make efforts to maintain them, disrupting the care and treatment of the kids. I hope they make some changes
