Dr. Hinton is a native of Durham, NC and has been practicing dentistry for 11 years. She graduated from Winston Salem State University.
She completed her dental education at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry, then completed the 2 year General Practice Residency at UNC Chapel Hill.
Dr. Hinton & her staff are experienced, warm & inviting. We will make everyone feel welcome.

"Dr. Tasha Timberlake Hinton is located in the heart of the RTP in Morrisville, NC. She is passionate about dentistry for all ages and needs and loves her patients like family. She is also a Special Needs dentist whom sees her patients at WakeMed in Raleigh, NC. There she is able to take patients to the OR for general sedation. Patients are referred to her whom can not be safely seen in a regular dental setting due to autism, Alzheimer’s, cerebral palsy, pre surgery clearance for orthopedic surgery, cardiac surgery and so on. Dr. Hinton sees people of all ages and located in the heart of the RTP. Come on in and join our family!"

My daughter is a special needs patient and Dr Hinton and her staff made her feel as comfortable as possible. She was so afraid and they moved whatever was necessary to accommodate her feelings. The surgery she experienced went so well and there was very little bleeding. Dr. Hinton did a great job.
OK, let me start by saying I HATE GOING TO THE DENTIST, no offense thrown your way Dr. Hinton. I have always despised it due to my horrific child and adult experiences. On days I'd have appointments, I would rather watch paint dry, clean up horse stalls, or work double overtime, just to avoid stepping in that office. Now it's easy for me to say how absolutely amazing EVERYONE, yes, EVERYONE is at this office is, but words are just words right? I have always believed actions always speak louder than words, so I will leave you with this. I WILLINGLY woke up today at 7AM for a deep cleaning appointment. #teamhinton
Dr. Hinton is a really good dentist. However, the supporting staff is not. I was on vacation and my appointment was 1 week out and Dr. Hinton staff called me about updating my insurance and I informed them I would provide when I return from vacation since I didn’t have my new insurance card. The next day, another representative from TTH Family Dentistry sent me a text message about updating my insurance, I informed them I had already spoken with another representative the day before and let them know I would provide the insurance when I return and then the representative was saying without them getting the insurance in advance I would be responsible for the dentist appointment- I had to keep explaining I didn’t have the card and would provide when I return home, still in advanced. Additionally, when I tried to contact TTH Dentistry via email and phone when I returned – no one ever gave me a call back or responded. Very poor customer service. Will not return.
My entire family have been patients of Dr. Hinton before and since this practice opened. The facility is clean and well maintained. Her practice has some of the most up to date dental equipment on the market. Dr. Hinton is the best dentist in the area, in my opinion. She has explained and comforted me through every procedure I have had while in her care. She's very friendly and personable and I've enjoyed wonderful conversations with her the the staff over the years!!
Dr. Hinton and her staff are absolutely amazing. This was our first visit to her office for our 4 year old and 1 year old. Our 4 year old has high functioning Autism and they were so patient, nice, personable, and caring with both boys. We absolutely loved it and are definitely going to be regular’s.
Mrs. Hinton and her staff is Amazing!! I love bringing my kid's here. I also come here. She's a very sweet person and she is down to earth. She does great dental work and her business is well organized. Thanks for taking good care of my kid's and I.
My daughter has severe anxiety issues and rarely trusts anyone at first sight. Dr Hinton and her staff made her feel comfortable. The doctor made sure to explain everything she was going to do. Dr Hinton had to do some significant oral surgery July 2020 on my daughter and the doctor made sure we all understood what was going to happen. Dr Hinton's office is WAY out of our way 2 hr drive from home but I'd still make that drive to go with a dentist that my daughter trusts.
My children have never enjoyed going to the dentist until they started being cared for by Dr. Hinton. I'd spent years paying for services that weren't needed, over paying or repairing services that weren't done correctly prior to becoming a patient of Dr. Hinton. All of the staff are friendly and professional. The office is inviting and modern. I tell everyone about this office and the great care they'll get when they go.
I had severe anxiety issues about dentists for years due to a couple of bad experiences. I've been with Dr. Hinton for 10+ years. She made me feel so very comfortable and I love her staff. She was nurturing yet very competent and thorough. My entire family travels about an hour to see her. If you're in need of a dentist who's caring and who won't recommend a treatment that's not needed come to TTH Family Denistry!
I would not give any star rating as she is not our dentist . Our doc was off on one day , my husband visited this office mind you it was in 2016 March . They sent a bill for $75 . I did call them up and paid the bill we did as always with other doc offices too . Never had issues with paying bill. All of a sudden they are sending me bill from 2016 in 2019 after 3 years saying pay the bill which was already settled . When asked for reason , why it has not gone for collections - no answer and they did not check under my name last name is different . They are clearly denying they did not see , but has been constantly sending bill from 2016 after 3 yrs , harassing not giving proper explaining why? When I asked to speak to sup , they just hang up the phone and keeps sending bill . Dental office bills if outstanding goes to collections after 30,60, 90 or 120 days and notice comes to our address . There is no notice since 2016 as we already paid .Now they are sending me bill for $85 .I do not know whose account they are trying to settle with extra money from us.
