Turnaround Café is a family-owned restaurant, located in downtown Turner, Oregon. We are open for breakfast and lunch, 6 days a week (closed Mondays).

Description

At Turnaround Café you'll find fresh food, delicious baked goods, friendly service, and a warm atmosphere. Our décor celebrates the rich farming heritage of the area. We have seating for about 60, with a private meeting room for up to 9 guests.

Hearty! The servings here are huge. It was packed when we arrived, but we didn't have to wait for a table, the waitress set us up with seating outside. The food didn't take long and the waitress checked on us regularly. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked and there was ample parking. Parking: Lots of free parking.
Super great location. I may be a little bias, but, seeing Carlos made this probably my new favorite place. Such an incredible person. Great food, beautiful decor.
If there were more stars to give, I'd give them. Everything about this place was good: the food, the service, the atmosphere, the bathroom, the other customers. It's very country-cozy without being silly. A few of the customers were clearly regulars, and everybody was friendly and smiley. Kind of makes you feel like you're part of the club. I had the Classic Burger, and it was delicious.
We came in to the restaurant and we’re seated fairly quickly but it took over a half an hour to get us our food. They definitely cater to the regulars as we observed regulars walking in and sitting at the counter and getting their food before we got ours. Also, after we got our food seems everybody that came in shortly after us got their food VERY quickly. Not sure what the reason for that was all we ordered was eggs and potatoes and biscuits and gravy. Doesn’t seem like the staff is very friendly. In some respects. they did attend our needs but they don’t even introduce themselves by name and say that they would be your server so definitely a little area to work on and I don’t think that you should preferentially treat your regulars over customers who are not regulars. Food tasted good.
Turnaround Cafe was a great, worthwhile meal. I ordered based on the waitresses feedback. Cinnamon roll with maple icing, Lumberman breakfast: chicken fried steak, country potatoes, 2 eggs, and bakery style toast. I ordered coffee with cream and a side of limpsoft bacon. I split the meal for a to go portion for my spouse who was not present. Coffee was hot and not burnt, but nice and rich. The Cinnamon roll was piping hot with extra butter on the side. Eggs basted to perfection and the rest didnt need any additions besides ketchup Portland organics. The toast came with a berry jelly/jam, can you say YUM!? I was sat promptly, coffee refilled often, nice and attentive service staff. Kid friendly, family friendly, a party room for larger groups. Cost was nicely priced for quality of food. My spouse agrees even after transporting food, that it was very good. I asked about product provider eggs and she was able to answer the question after consulting the kitchen staff. Environment very clean and tidy. Accepts cash and cards.
I loved it we took our grandkids first time for all of us . We will go again and tell everyone how wonderful it is. Parking: Lots of parking to be found Wheelchair accessibility: Not a problem
Biscuits and gravy- House made biscuits and the gravy was really good and thick. Lumbermans breakfast- Chicken fried steak was tender and good. Potatoes were a bit under cooked. Could have been cooked a bit longer Service was good. They check on us often and was attentive.
Was a great place to eat. Michelle was my waitress and she was fabulous. Really friendly service and the Food there was excellent!
Came here with my boyfriend. He paided and they charged him for another table that was 3x the price. Its been a week and we haven't seen a refund back. Still had to pay for our meal and just got an apology.
Love this place! Always friendly service and always good food. Had the special today, Monte Cristo. Delish, and came with fruit and yummy jam.Food: 5/5
