Turtle Grove Park

Love playing in the splash pad Is a 8 mi trip to my daughters and around my bike over there sometimes so that means I stop by turtle park and hit the splash pad to cool off Great view of FLINT RIVER TOO GOOD PLACE FOR YOUR PETS TO RUN

Me and my family had a picnic and played kickball here. It was some clean old school fun, had a great time. Very peaceful. Just dont like that people throw bottle caps down when there are plenty of trash cans around Picnic area: It's spacious

For the area this park is amazing. The restrooms are clean. It's right in the heart of downtown. Aquarium, awesome coffee shop right across the street and the Flint River. I mean it's pretty amazing if you ask me. My children love it, even my toddler. Great location, awesome scenery, convenient... There's also a trail attached. All in all it's a great playground.

You have to go to Turtle Park and just experience how much fun it is! First of all the staff at the Welcome Center are amazing!! So nice, friendly and helpful!! I was able to rent a bicycle and explore the area. We rode our bikes down the beautiful trail they had along the Flint River. Albany really does a great job keeping it clean and keeping the grass mowed. Lots of trails to venture off on if you choose to. I just love this place and will definitely be back!! Great job Albany!

I always have an amazing time here. Growing up, I would come here with my family and spend the whole day playing on the slides, and now I get to appreciate the surreal beauty from the sunsets and the calming river walk. It's so nice to see a place I grew up with still thriving for younger generations.

Great family surrounding. Playgrounds, walking/biking trails. There is a water area for kids. Playground: There are swings, and slides. Restrooms: They were clean. Picnic area: Nice areas to eat and cook food.

This park is very clean and has something for everyone. Great food nearby as well!

Nice place to sit and/or explore the Flint River. A new kayak launch provides a push off point for paddlers and a place to sit and enjoy the shoals of the fall line to the Coastal Plain. Plenty of other nearby attractions.
