Located in the bucolic Crow Valley near Eastsound, we're a working farm and you're invited to wander the property to see the animal life, vegetable and flower gardens, ponds, and wild birds such as ducks, geese and eagles. We are also convenient to all of the outdoor activities, restaurants, shops, artist workshops, and cultural offerings of Orcas Island.
Innkeepers Bill and Susan Fletcher welcome you to their fully renovated farmhouse and the recently added Orchard House which feature eleven rooms each with private bath and a blend of fine antiques and contemporary pieces. In addition to wireless internet access, all 11 guest rooms at Turtleback Farm Inn offer custom woolen comforters & down pillows, CD/radios, and hair dryers.
You will be shown to your room by one of the Fletchers, asked questions about food preferences, be given suggestions on activities and Island attractions you might enjoy, restaurants to check out, and much more.
In the morning, you'll wake to enjoy a delicious breakfast, beginning with our renowned homemade granola, homemade baked goods, fresh fruit, coffee , tea, and juices, and topped off by one of our entree specialties, featuring dishes made with local meat and/or fish and our own free-range eggs. After a day of sightseeing in Moran State Park, sea kayaking, hiking, bicycling, shopping, or wine tasting, take a relaxing nap, enjoy some fresh-baked cookies and a beverage, or catch up on your reading on one of our decks or in front of the fire in the living room.
The living room boasts a Rumford fireplace, comfortable seating, and a corner game table. The large dining room has a convenient wet bar tucked into one corner that's kept stocked with complimentary cakes and cookies, sherry, coffee and tea.
