We stay here every year for a week long vacation! I has permanent residents, but they all seem to be pretty cool. It is clean and shaded and has a little store with propane. Spaces are not jammed together to tightly and the price is affordable. Overall it is the best deal in the area. It is also located right next to the river and nestles behind some grape fields. My only warning is.....do not leave your garbage out at night! The little skunk friends like to forage and you really don't want them as visitors. I will be happy when the extra bathrooms are rebuilt.
New owners are extremely rude. “I can do anything I want I own the place”. Said while banging on my RV window. Very flip. Couldn’t avoid her so I left. Planned on staying until 4/1, but they just lost $10,000‼ In 2 months I was asked to move sites 3 times. The staff are wonderful, just poorly behaved owner
*ADVENTURERS BEWARE* Location is nice, the RV park has mixed visitors AND residents mixed. The biggest issue... I'm a Veteran with PTSD. I was loading my daughter into one of our vehicles when this female manager named Rebecca, "Karen", asked who's vehicle it was and if they could move it, no problem. She started yelling as if her life was at risk, but wouldn't stop to talk. Then proceeded to threaten with a fine, and call the police. There is no need to come in with such high anxiety, which doesn't help. As I tried to approach her at the main office, she threatened to call the police. Unfortunately, we only got two nights out of 9. Very unfortunate that this one individual can be so rash. Hopefully Karen gets the psychological help she needs and doesn't treat anymore guests with such disrespect.
Great place. Only complaint, no electricity at tent sights. Otherwise we very much enjoyed it.
Beautiful gated rv park. Accommodating. It's for those of us who seek avoidance from the Hustle and bustle of the city, and the interstate. Thin Rivers is in the sticks away from major highways. Peace and tranquility? Look no further.
Made a reservation for end of August. Went to cancel the reservation 8 hours later. The “vacation park” kept $55 of our total payment. I called to request a refund of what they kept, given it hadn’t even been 24 hours, the lady was so completely rude and condescending! My guess is they get a lot of cancellations after people read their poor reviews. Stay away!!
We were awakened at 7 am by loud dump trucks, a backhoe, workers and other heavy equipment just 15 ft from our RV They cut concrete, dug up the street and hauled dirt away all day long. We never had any kind of notification about the work. I talked to the park manager, she told me to get over it!! Excuse me? She was loud, rude, and condescending. Not ever coming back.
Store was not open at all for services. Grass was overgrown throughout the campground and made the bugs at our site horrible. Actually got asked to remove our mat off the overgrown grass that was helping to keep the bugs at bay. Then when we asked for firewood, they had me and my brothers-in-law to go to a slash pile and get our own which we had to split. Then had the audacity to charge our credit card for the slash pile wood. They said the store would be open on Friday, no one showed up. My in-laws showed up to check in and they called the number posted and put them in a site far away from us. Even though we booked sites together. Then no WiFi at all in any of our sites. For $60 p/night this was horrible. We’ve gone there for quite a few years and there was always small issues. But this was totally unacceptable. When we got our wood from the slash pile, some guy on a golf cart came up and said “I’ve been working for 20 days straight so I’m not in a good mood.” Why talk to paying customers in this way. Especially when I’m doing your job?!?
Enjoyed our stay @Twin Rivers vacation park. All the amenities we used were well maintained. Clean bathrooms, hot showers & staff was friendly & always working on the property. Also very secure feeling w/locking gate at only entrance. My only complaint is the all vehicle traffic through the park. Which is to be expected since many of the tenants seem to live there. They come & go as they are going about daily life, not so much on "vacation". Would recommend for people who want to camp in rv close to town but not to close.
Got Round Table looked for camping spots @ the area Needed last minute 1nighter before heading back to San Diego, camping in our Transit Van called n got a spot. Has shower. River runs behind. Cool.
