Artists beware! When I decided to leave this gallery, they packed all my artwork and did not allow me to inspect it. They sent demands to pick up my work, and I said I would if I could inspect it and pack it myself. They refused and ultimately dumped my art in the dirt at the end of my driveway - see picture. One of my items was broken - it happened to be the most expensive piece. This frame I made survived many galleries and moves, but not this one. They must have pushed the corner hard because the print was popped backwards out of the frame. My contract with them states they are liable for damage, but they have not paid up. I'm too disabled to take them to small claims court. Their motto should be "for the love of religion and politics". The gallery director sent me numerous text messages inviting me to her church and bible study. I declined but she did not stop. I had to block her from contacting me to make it stop. She doesn't seem to like strong, independent, single women and I was SINGLED out at this gallery! What an awful and expensive experience.
For a small town art gallery, they have a lot of nice pieces. Modern style, clean store. Frie dynamic staff.
There is always something new to see when I go into the beautiful Gallery. I can really connect to the artwork. It is all about the beautiful country found in the area as well as wildlife of all kinds. The Gallery has quality items, lots of reasonable and unique gifts, and very friendly.
Great selection of locally produced high-quality artwork at very reasonable prices.
There were a lot of different art mediums - glass, pottery, painting, beadwork, and more, and everything was beautiful! The staff was very pleasant :
Great variety of local artworks. These ar photos from a Mask Mania event during October 2019.
Do NOT do business with John Reyes. He has stained glass art there at the gallery. He's a scam artist and he's good at it.. you'd never guess. His daughter Melissa is also a lying scammer. They stole money from MY artwork. They claim to be Christian but do NOT believe them. They are scandalous people. Why do you think John and Melissa got their phone turned off? Because it's my phone. Why don't they have electricity to continue doing stained glass? Because it is my solar system. They must have forgot not to bite the hand that feeds them.
An excellent place to find hand crafted items created by local artists. A warm and welcoming place staffed by volunteers who are more than willing to take time to talk with you and answer any questions you might have. They're also willing to answer any questions about the area you might have. The shop is located in the beautiful community center building and the shop is clean, well lit and a joy to browse through.
They are a nice little place for Hobby Artists to sell work. But if you are looking for professional artists who display big pieces of work this hobby gallery is not for you. Also, I really don't consider this a true art gallery because they are also a gift shop.
Out on chiloquin on the same building as the chiloquin branch library is this wonderful artists gallery featuring local artists I had one of their artists make me a custom vest and some mocassins. But they have every kind of art imaginable. Paintings sculpture, jewelry? Seeing is believing it will make for a cool outing. But well worth checking out.
