A good little museum. We we're not able to enjoy the museum at our own pace. Unfortunately only guided tours are allowed, which rushed us past lots of small displays. There is much to read, but no time allowed to just observe and read.
They were closed when I got there. A buddy lives next door and I was visiting him and his wife
Great little museum from people who really care about the community.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10
Wonderful museum with many antiques/artifacts displayed nicely. Unfortunately the volunteer gentleman followed us around for our entire visit there. While he was pleasant to talk with, I felt rushed and a bit under constant scrutiny. It definitely put a damper on my experience.
Very interesting. So great to have so many items from the local history. Thanks to the students who made the model of the Gorge!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Great collection of local history. Now charging a mandatory "donation" of $40/hr and required babysitting appointment to use the library resources. They feel that they have collected and maintained the resource and if people use it to write books, articles or anything besides personal, local family history, they might be missing out on money and recognition. Charging $5.00 per b/w photocopy. Wonderful resource that's basically unusable.
Really nice museum for such a small place. Very helpful people.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Tried visiting per listed hours on a Saturday in January and got to the door and the sign said closed for winter - opening March 5. Would really have been nice if this information could be listed online. Particularly is this is a yearly occurrence...
