IT WAS THE BEST BEACH WE HAVE EVER FOUND, VERY CLEAN. THERE WERE SEVERAL DOLPHINS SWIMMING WITH US!!!
Very nice park plenty of fun activities for children to enjoy. Plenty of shady spots to sit for adults as they supervise their children at play. Water fountain was functional and bathrooms were clean and adequately stocked. 10/10 would visit again.
This could/should be a great park for the community and visitors. The grills were cool for cooking lunch before we went to the beach. I took my 3 year old granddaughter to the park and she had fun. There is a lot of rust and the soft flooring was nice but caved in some places. I was afraid I would twist my ankle and ruin the rest of my vacation. If you visit, make sure to step carefully.
The beach was super nice but the parking super sucked. Have fun!
nice playground and rec area- i didn't spend too much time here.. the kids played after a long drive and i used the restroom- it was clean enough to use,, the was a half burnt cigar.ette in the stale and smelt as such.. but other than that nice little spot- too walk the dogs too! given they can't go on the beach :/
Very well maintained park. Super clean bathroom. Nice fenced in playground. A beautiful place to come walk the dogs. Be sure and check out the only cemetery on Tybee Island. Playground: Nice and clean playground area. Rubber cushion ground cover. Fenced in. Restrooms: Very clean. Newly renovated. Dog-friendliness: Great place to come walk the dogs
Nice free park pay to park with public restrooms and a covered Pavillion with fans! Nice volleyball & basketball courts. Soccer field with nets. Room for medium size events. Playground: Beautiful playground with modern equipment Restrooms: Clean, well stocked restrooms - public works is on the ball. Picnic area: Nice covered pavillion with big electric fans.
There is a sign when you get on the island letting you know that there is no place that you can park for free on the island. They are petty and will ticket you minutes after the meter runs out. I think they sit and wait for it to run out if it's close.
Pretty nice stop for children to play while visiting Tybee. Restrooms are available and had just been cleaned. Parking was $8 minimum if you use a card to pay.
Had a great time with my daughter at the playground. The park was very clean and had excellent restrooms
