If I could leave a 0 star review I would. Was left on hold twice for 20 minutes each time while I could hear the lady blabbing with customers. The first time she forgot I was holding and hung up. The second time I lost patience and hung up. I don't recommend unless you are desperate.

Rude, inconsiderate and difficult to work with. Every day we called to ask for another day rental; the owner acted as if we were trying to take away something from him when we in fact were giving him more business. It was the worst most unprofessional dealing we have had with a U-Haul or any moving truck rental company. After settling up and leaving the store, the owner gets aggressive and gets in my face telling me that I have been banned from ever renting at U-Haul. Not just at his place but the whole country. Which Is not anything close to the truth. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this store as a good place to do business. Unless you enjoy spending hours on hold at the main corporate phone # and customer service in order to get any straight answers or resolutions to your rental agreement and over charges put on by this store that will not be reasoned with by the owner. You will definitely be on the phone with issues. Hope you enjoy bad music, being on hold for over 1 hour and a bad connection.

Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced. We reserved a trailer for the Carson City location, but when we went to pick it up we were told it had been moved to the Gardnerville location due to unavailable stock. We did NOT receive any notification from U-haul regarding this change, which was frustrating enough, but when we called the Gardnerville location to let them know we were on our way and would be late due to UHAUL'S error, we were told: "No, the guy has already gone home. There's nothing for you here." She kept talking over us, refused to listen, and THEN put the phone down thinking we had hung up? and started talking to her coworker about how, "If he had been nice I could have helped him." which we found incredibly unprofessional considering we had yet to be any type of rude to her. We kept talking, hoping they would hear us, and neither did. Finally we hung up. This has been an awful experience and we will never recommend this location to anyone.

Jimmy and his crew were the friendliest uhaul people I have ever met. They really went the extra miles in helping me towing a trailer. I rarely do reviews but I felt like the average rating currently displayed were unfair.

I've used U-Haul for many years, and always has had good service. Recently had the opportunity to deal with these good folks, and they're customer service just blew my mind. I just wanted a chance to say thank you and keep up the great work.

We stopped here to buy propane. NEVER AGAIN. By the time we got to Las Vegas the propane system in rv had stalled out cost us $600 to have lines cleaned. DO. OT BUY PROPANE HERE.

Would give zero stars but unfortunately can't when you reserve a truck weeks in advance you should get it right ?not with uhaul my experience I will never use uhaul again and anyone I run into I'll lettem know my experience as well thx for nothing

Jimmy has been SO Helpful and it's refreshing to see someone work hard to take care of his customers. I'd go back and do business with the Gardnerville Uhaul in a heartbeat.

This is not even a legit Uhual location rental! It’s some sort of gas company. Went in there and asked if there is any type of uhual around and said not for the next 20 miles. The people who manage it can’t even give you a legit answer either!

Worst customer service ever. Do not give these people your business. I was able to resolve the issue of them not having the truck I reserved before they could. In addition, when returning the truck that I had to go all the way to Mound House to pick up, the young guy yelled at us saying it was our fault
