Udall Park Rec Center

This is a great park for kids and adults alike. They have a great splash pad and covered playground, the park has a lot of fields for all sorts of recreation, and the walking paths are fantastic. It is also great place for the farmers market going on right now in the spring time.

I play in a volleyball league here, and it serves us well! It'd be nice to have a bathroom nearer to the playground/volleyball area, but the nearest facilities aren't /too/ far. I enjoyed the indoor track at one time, but now it seems like there are a lot of people who arrive in vans that are crowding the place. I think most of them are coming from halfway houses or drug rehab facilities. They fool around on the track and make it quite unsafe for some of the elderly and people who walk with canes or walkers. They also sit on the stairs so you have to go around them to get up or down to the track. I complained, but the guy I talked to didn’t seem to care. They have an attitude of hear nothing, see nothing, do nothing. Sometimes I see quite a few workers behind the entry desk but most are sitting on their butts doing nothing. I heard a few of them talking one day about a woman they found in a toilet stall who had slept there all night. Who’s checking this facility? I have a bit of advice for the manager. You’d better make sure your “workers” are surveying the place, because if someone gets hurt up there, there might be a big lawsuit coming your way. Don’t say you haven’t been warned.

Friendly, fun staff. Wonderful place, to which I've been coming since 2010. Indoor recreation including weight machine circuit, walking track, basketball & pickleball. Swimming pool offers water aerobics classes. Splash pad. Soccer fields. Some parking is covered. Very nice place. They have an inside track for walkers. They also have bridge games for people who are familiar with that card game. It appears to be a very social place to gather in.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait

I took my four boys and one of their friends to play volleyball at their open gym on Saturday from 1-3:45pm. Cost was $3 per person but we got their later, after 3, and the guy only charged us $4 total. From what I saw the facility is really nice and clean. It had weight room, pool tables, walking g track, outdoor pool, and what looked like some auxiliary rooms. Only there for an hour but the place was clean. Would definitely recommend for open volleyball play. Giving four stars only because I didn't get to see all the facilities, only read what they have. But would still recommend.
