UF Health Family Medicine and Pediatrics

Let’s start with my MA Stephanie! Omg! My heart was so full of joy! I’m so sick and she was so attentive/gentle/caring…She is definitely an asset to the practice! Ms. Mazzeo is just as amazing! I had a lot going on health wise and she took her time, surveyed my concerns and addressed all questions and we came up with a positive plan of health to get me better!

The doctors here are nice, the reception staff however is another matter entirely. Rude is not quite a strong enough word to describe it. I’ve been hung up on at 4:30 before they’re closing time, and given the “after hours” receiver, been yelled at when asked to repeat what they said for clarification, and left snide and condescending voicemails as if I have nothing better to do during work hours except work my job! The sheer lack of professionalism is staggering.

I have been to this office 3-4 times. The front desk has been nothing but professional. I am a retired RN and have high expectations for my health provider. Julie Bowers NP is AMAZING. I am comfortable coming down knowing I have an extraordinary provider. I drive a little further to receive my care here. I’m at the beaches and saw Julie after an issue my first health issue down here. Dr. Grewal saw me on my last visit. Once again, thoroughly impressed. I’m a little surprised at the poor ratings from some of the clients.

They don't care. Ever since Dr. Array went to PVB the practice has become terrible. They don't call you back and have ridiculous hold times. I haven't been to another Dr since 1997. This place has become a money grab and the patient care has suffered dramatically.

Brittany Mazzeo, APRN is amazing. She is professional, caring and attentive. She referred me out to a specialist, and after seeing the specialist I had not received a response. I reached out to Brittany via the portal and she responded right away. I feel like she cares about her patients. I've already recommended her to a friend!

This is the best pediatric office I have yet visited ever. The place is clean and cute but the staff!!! I love them ! Front desk defines “customer service” she’s amazing ! Attentive, helpful and efficient. She gets the things done right away! Now the nurses, THE BEST medical staff! Welcoming, nice, happy and carrying. My son hates the doctors and always gives me hard time the day we have a visit scheduled and it was no different that day but they helped me make him feel better and accommodated us in a way no other office has ever had. The doctors listen and observe first and treat little humans like HUMANS which I appreciate and value tremendously because usually is the parents who talk. Dr Soto took the time to meet my boy and treated him with respect little human deserves it always bothered me that people disregard kids like they’re not present when in fact they understand more than we can imagine. Overall I am very satisfied with the visit and the entire experience at this facility and recommend it to other parents. The bonus is the app that has literally everything you need to schedule next visit, see summary of previous appts, billing info etc.

Excellent experience! I’m deaf and the other pediatric office felt obligated to accommodate me so I decided to find a different office and this one is perfect for me and my family! They were quick to schedule an appointment for my newborn son, provided interpreting service without me needing to ask. They made us feel very welcomed there! Update: I would give this place 5 stars if they offered immunization at the site. Having to drive to a different location often new baby is the only downside about this place.

The Doctor here do not care like they should. If appointment time is 11:00 then the child should be able to go back and see the doctor at 11:00 and not 11:40. Have some respect for the word APPOINTMENT.

What a great visit! I am always anxious when visiting the doctor's office, but your caring team made all the difference. The team welcomed me, delivered care with patience, and answered all my questions. I love knowing I can use the UF Portal to communicate with my care team going forward. Being on a high deductible health plan, cost is always a concern for me. I was excited to learn about virtual visits, which will save me a lot of money in the future. Grateful to have found this medical team.

I took my child in for her initial/physical visit, what a great expierence. Staff was very corteous, nice and energetic. Dr. Soto was so thorough answering every question I had. She had a wonderful interaction with my child and was very patient. They cheered up my kid when getting a vaccine. I tried my best selecting a clinic where I know they would treat my child well and I feel at ease knowing this can be the clinic my child will go to till adult-hood. Thank you to the whole staff!
