The only issue was the wait time before, but it was 6:30 and they got slammed out of nowhere so I don’t hold it to them. Receptionist, Nurse and Doctor were all fantastic. Was able to start the antibiotics I needed by 8:15 pm. Helpful and easy through and through
Not a long wait to be seen. I’m happy with my care. Needed an X-ray. Got an X-ray. It was read quickly and I was out of there in reasonable amount of time. I’m a doctor and I know that I received great care! Also they were respectful and polite and I never tell them or anyone providing me with medical care that I am a doctor until they win my trust and are respectful.
some staff is nice, some is very rude. I came in yesterday and had a great experience. I came in today for a follow up because my condition was worsening and the staff was very rude. Giving three stars because the staff I saw yesterday was so nice, it made it one of my best urgent care experiences ever.
Arrived at Walk In at a good time as the waiting room wasn’t full. Registration clerk was friendly and process was fast. Very little wait before being called in. Nurse was very pleasant and efficient. PA that saw me was very attentive and knowledgeable. Being. Retired RN, I was impressed with the staff and the unit. A pleasant experience.
Went in today with an allergic reaction to a Bee Sting/Spider bite. Since yesterday the redness went from the size of a dime to approximately 3 inches in width by 8 inches in length, The area is very hot to the touch and I am experiencing itching all over my body. I saw Anna Spencer, which was a complete waste of my time and hers. She told me to take Benadryl and to use hydrocortisone cream. Clearly I am having an allergic reaction to whatever stung/bit me. I was expecting an Histamine Injection or something similar, but got nothing. I thanked her for treating me like a Neurotic Hypochondriac and told her I would give her name if I ended up at the ER, then left. Now that I’ve read the after visit summary, I see she falsified the account of what actually took place to cover up her own shortcomings pertaining to my visit. Never once was the area on my arm measured and all they seemed concerned about was my Osteoporosis! This was undoubtedly the worst Walk-in visit I’ve ever experienced. I will never go there again and will also share my experience with anyone that will listen.
I was told of this Walk -In, in the next UHS building on the Vestal Parkway to the UHS building i was having a Dr's appointment at. I was sick and having serious pains in my stomach. I went to the Walk-In and as i sat there. doubled over in pain I watched 10 to 15 different people come in and be called in before me. sitting there in pain I could not take no more, so I politely went up and asked the receptionist if I was forgotten about and I was told these people had reservations. I still to this day can't imagine calling in to a "walk in" and making reservations. Is this not a restaurant! Don't they have a regular doctor? This is ridiculous. Someone in serious need gets passed up for someone with a common cold or in need of a band aid! I would think it would be first come first serve with exception of a serious life threatening case. for this one star out of five for UHS!!!!
Excellent experience. I really liked calling ahead and setting up walk-in appointment. The convenience of this was great. Wait time was very minimum at best. Nurses and FNP work great and very appreciative. Thankyou, Tim
The wait was a little longer than usual and we reserved a timed spot in-line. The staff are all lovely and friendly. We were put in room seven which has a lot of noise pollution going on. I’m not sure if it’s next to a mechanical room of some sort. My son already had a headache per his symptoms and it was almost unbearable in there. The nurse and doctor were both great. We were satisfied with our visit there.
Staff was phenomenal! I was passing a kidney stone and they got me in with 10 minutes of getting there. Melissa Corbett was a very good PA. She knew her stuff and was kind and caring.
I came here today cause i just need to get follow up check up for my pheneumonia i didnt get treat well by that nurse name andrea she was rude and not nice at all also when shes taking my vital sign when she has to do swab my throat she poke it to hard and all she says is cause i jave a sore throat i didnt have sore throat at all i eas telling her that i feel those before i was diagnose but when i get my meds to take ididnt feel anything i was feeling okay . Patient should be treated to feel better and not get hurt and upset . I have to leave that hospital and didnt finish my check up there and i went to different hospital instead .
