Growing great people in Idaho - The University of Idaho Extension
The Southern Idaho Horticulture Extension program is committed to helping individuals and communities grow. We provide volunteer programs for adults and youth, specialized training in sustainable landscaping, home and garden vegetable production, pest management, small acerage management, and water conservation. Master Gardeners, University of Idaho trained volunteers provide no-cost horticulture education to hundreds of Southern Idaho residents through our plant clinics and information booths.
Extension Programs reflect the needs of our dynamic community, everchanging programs adapt to the changing needs. Using outreach Research based information to teach as many residents as possible is key to our success.
