Pretty good location. Nice, clean, and friendly Ulta. Staff friendly but not badgering. They have decent stock here. They are missing few select items than say a bigger Ulta would have but still nice selection. Would reccomend, they have lots of Vegan/cruelty free brands here too, as well as Asian skincare/Korean brands
Loved this location. Last time I visited, the person that worked the area I needed was busy and another staff member jumped in to help me find the product I needed. She even indulged me when I asked to look at something else. she then gave me samples for a foundation after color matching me. She was very patient with me
I stopped by because I needed to get a couple new things for myself that I didn’t really have much knowledge on I wanted to start taking care of my facial skininitially I was checking out some hair products that I normally use and I was approached by Jonathan for the first time asking me if I needed any assistance. I told him I didn’t and he said to let him know if I needed anything to simply ask. After a while of browsing and I finally wanted to look for the facial stuff I couldn’t find it and didn’t know where to look either so I looked for Jonathan and asked him if he could help me out. He Initially gave me three brand options and I just told him to show me what he uses. He showed me a product and I told him I’d like to try it out before I buy the bigger bottle that he was showing me. He was able to give me a type of sampler box and informed and instructed me on how to use each item and in which order which I really liked because I wouldn’t have known otherwise. Then he also recommended another product that would go along well with the supplies he recommended. I really loved how much he was able to help me and actually teach me about the process/ products. Unfortunately I had an emergency and the line was a bit long so I had to go. Ill definitely be back here when I need more
I couldn't let another day go by without writing this post about the Silverlake Ulta Beauty. On July 5, 2023, I reluctantly walked into the store looking for a particular makeup, because I hadn't stepped foot inside since before the pandemic, because of all of the horrible experiences with the staff. This particular day will always be special because of the beauty, warmth, and superb knowledge that Coy displayed. If I tell you that Coy went trough a total facial tutorial of what I needed for daily moisturizing, and what I needed to cover all of my flaws...babe, I was in heaven and felt so special that day. Ulta, you really need to get on board and pay Coy the big corporate bucks to train employees on how to treat their customers, as well as knowing people of all races when it comes to make-up. My stylist Shamel gets 5 stars all day. Came for the first time to the salon and Shamel was such a breath of fresh air. She started on time, was such a positive convo and did great with my daughters braids, she wasn't heavy handed and that's what we were looking for. Just wish she was on schedule for Saturdays. This would have been 5 stars if the male stylist manager? at the counter would have acknowledged my teenage daughter, who I told to stand in line and check in for the appt while I parked. Customer service isn't his strong suit.
I was very upset with this location. I had an appointment for my makeup yesterday at 9:45, showed up at 9:40 doors were locked. I called and let them know and they came right away to open. I checked in and sat there for about 20 mins before the lady started on makeup. She was not prepared at all. I showed her a picture of what i wanted it to look like. Now my eye makeup i loved it was great! But my face, horrible! And during when she was doing my makeup she kept talking to the other stylists, and getting distracted. I thought that was very unprofessional. I had 2 pimples on my face and i thought she would cover them but nope she didn’t. I left unhappy and had to go home and fix my makeup. I spent $70 and still had to go home and fix it! Foundation felt and looked cakey. Mind you appointment was at 9:45, she didn’t start until 10:30 and i didn’t leave until 11:15. I will never do my makeup there again!
HORRIBLE ! Please do yourself a favor a do not come to this Ulta hair Salon was horrible service. I came here five minutes early for my appointment. Granted this is my only day off when I can do this. They told me to wait 20 minutes because the hairdresser was not ready understandable. She did such a horrible job I just wanted a blow out and my hair looked horrible. Still paid was also supposed to get my eyebrows done. Turns out there was no one there to do my eyebrows everybody called off and no one decided to give me a call. I do not live close to this location. It took money gas to come here and nobody could do their job please do not come here go to the Baybrook Ulta they are amazing.
This lovely lady helped me out to find my correct concealer shade and she did a wonderful job! usually when i ask employees for a shade match they’ll pick the most whitest shade ever im tan but she actually did shade matches and didn’t shame me for having acne a different employee which i’m not sure if she still works there but she shamed me for having acne and said i should buy skincare instead but anyways! she needs a raise fr
Yadira did Amazing daytime makeup for me! She was professional and she educated me about the products she was using. I am extremely satisfied with her service and recommend her anytime!
Makeup and selection is fine but this store is plagued by some dude who walks around with a headset on while one cashier has to battle lines by herself. Maybe manage a little more and get your cashiers and customers some help. That small store isn't designed for lines wrapping around the place.
