I had a great shopping experience at Ulta in Exton, Claudia was a huge help at locating the products I requested as well offering recommendations and brands for my needs! She was very knowledgeable with different brands including Chanel, and the various make up options for my daughters sensitive type! She was multitasking helping other customers as well and ironically was my cashier at checkout! Great job I’ll definitely come back! Thanks Tiffany T

The Ulta in Exton is great. Very clean and organized and always seem to have in stock exactly what I need and my only complaint is they no longer provide samples which is something I really enjoyed getting because that is how I’ve discovered half of my favorite products! Still it’s a great story to stop off out when you need your products and don’t want to order online or go to the KOP mall. The staff is friendly and available which is also a dying are in this day and age!
I bought new makeup here days before my trip. On my way home, my luggage was delayed. The manager was super sweet and offered me samples of my make up for free. The last time I had been in she greeted me and was sweeping the floor. I have to respect managers who are willing to do it all. Thank you for your amazing customer service!!
Two strikes! I get my hair colored and cut at Ulta every 6-8 weeks. Last time I went, I spent $160 on my hair, plus tip! I love my stylist, she's great. My complaint is about the store itself. When I got my hair done last month, their registers were down and they were only taking Ulta credit cards or debit cards. No VISA/MC card. I never use my debit card, and don't have an Ulta card and wasn't about to open one, either. Luckily, I found an old debit card to use and was able to pay for my service. If your registers are down, better let hair customers know BEFORE you do their hair. What if I didn't have a debit card? Today - I had an 11 am hair appointment. Get up to the door, and there's a note that they are closed until noon and doing inventory. What? Who closes a major store during the day to do inventory? Luckily, someone came to the door to tell me I could still come in for hair services. The issue was, however, I could not buy anything in the store since they were doing inventory. I needed shampoo, cotton balls, and some other essentials, but I wasn't allowed to purchase anything. Two people told me, as I was in walking around in the store, that I wasn't allowed to purchase anything. They acted like I was annoying them by being IN the store for a hair appointment. What a pain in the royal a$$! I am thinking about going back to my former hair salon. I like the extra points I get from using the services at Ulta, but between ATM payments and now being closed at 11 am for inventory, it might be time to head to Sephora and my old hair salon. Ulta - do your inventory in the evenings! You literally were turning away customers.
Melinda has changed the way my brows look. I am a natural redhead and my eyebrows are blonde. They are so blonde that you cannot see them. I also have a lot of brow hair unibrow vibes. She recommended a wax and tint service for me and it has changed my life. The tint last almost six weeks and I do not have to put colored makeup on my brows now. I still use the 24 hour brow setter by Benefit I HIGHLY recommend getting a brow service done with Melinda at the Benefit Brow bar! She only works at the Exton location so make sure to call the store and make an appointment. I usually schedule mine in advance since her book fills up quickly.
Yesterday my daughter visited the Exton store. She ended up walking out and purchasing her products at the Ulta section within Target in Brandywine. The Exton branch salesperson made her feel scrutinize by the repeated questioning of products she'd be purchasing. She also told me she felt uncomfortable just browsing through the aisles. The recent theif that occurred at this store is unfortunate but loyal customers shouldn't be made to feel that they've entered the store with the intent to do the same. Luckily Ulta hasn't lost a customer but the Exton branch definitely has.
The employees are really helpful!! I went here to get a concealer and I'm not very good at makeup. So the employee helped me by telling different ways to apply it and what shade fit my skin tone
I recently had my first DermaFlash facial by Quinn. Wow, it was superb. As an older gal I had many questions on my aging face which were all answered. Quinn was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly! I am looking forward to the next one!
I love Ulta! It is a well rounded store with products of all price points. I have always found the staff to helpful in my make-up journey, and at times inspirational. Their staff has proven to be knowledgeable. As a woman of color I appreciate their ability to truly find make-up for my skin tone that is an appropriate match; not just a near match. They are respectful of a customer's budget. They won't up sell you just to make a larger sale; they genuinely want to keep the customer even of they are not top of the line shoppers. They will keep you within your comfort zone color pallet wise or application wise, or as I have asked more than once, take me out of my comfort zone--not way out in the outfield, but just some point past the baseline. Each time I was given guidance that not only provided a look but also helped me develop other looks. I will admit, there have been times I have had to wait for an associate to help me. It should be noted, that even after a long wait, it was worth it. I had the associate's full attention and have never felt rushed, even during the times I have, due to my schedule, showed up late but still out before closing. I look forward to continuing my journey with both make-up exploration and staff as I have already returned more than once to show off a face I created based on their great guidance.
