just w meh experience. walked up to a group of 3 employees after looking for 5 or 7 min for a product. the employees were angry to be interrupted/asked a question and told me what they had out was all they had. I then spent a bit longer looking and asked another employee and there were able to find it in 10 seconds for me. then got into line... 15 people in line and only one cashier. find a different Ulta if you can, this one is not it.
I went in for a haircut yesterday and I just wanna say Marissa did such an amazing job on my hair like seriously thanks to her I feel so confident and brand new. Definitely will be back I never had a stylist focus so much to detail and going back making sure it was even before having me hop off the chair. Made me feel like my hair was in good hands
Elmwood Salon Louisiana - Andy Parker is the best colorist/stylist I have ever had. I highly recommend him. I always enjoy my time in his chair and look forward to my next appointment. He offers input when I want to change my hairstyle, and has suggested products to protect my hair from the effects of the brutal sun that we have here. I don't want anyone else ever doing my hair.
I have always been a Ulta is greater than Sephora shopper and. I almost exclusively shop here instead of Sephora. One of the reasons why was because the perfume department is so great - you could easily test out new perfumes. However, I went today and they had all of the perfumes locked up. A huge drawback. I will start shopping at Sephora now because this is one of the main reasons I shop in store.
This store is amazing. I was fortunate to work here for a short period of time. The store is super clean. They keep up with the latest brands. They have everything you need here for beauty. They have a nail section, hair care section, you can get your hair and eyebrows done, there’s a bath section, and a on the go section with a variety of different products by the registers. They have the best brands of makeup, hair care, perfumes, bath essentials, and tanning. I love the Kylie Jenner skin care line, along with her lip kits. They have the famous urban decay eye palettes and makeup, two faced products, Clinique, tarte, the new dyson hair tools, chi, babybliss, biolage, and so much more.
I always go to the Ulta store in Shreveport for my haircut and they do a fantastic job. I came in town for a funeral and needed a haircut. Andy cut my hair. He was nice and said he has been cutting hair for 20 years, well I did not realize he could not cut my hair straight until I went home to straighten my hair with my on hair straighter. I had to cut some of my own hair to even out the ends. For what they charge for a haircut I expected a lot better job. I will not be going back to him.
This store is great for in store shopping. However, order and pickup is horrendous, as well as shipping. I placed an order for in store pickup. The item was shown online to be in store for pickup. They “fulfilled” the order by giving me the wrong item. I asked if any other stores near us had the item, and the employee told me I would have to call the other stores. They did not have the item. I placed an online order, which did not have the option of quicker shipping. I called Ulta service number and they said we would have to call the shipping company for upgraded shipping. I called the shipping company to upgrade shipping. They said to call Ulta. It has been a back and forth between shipping and Ulta, where both representatives say to call the other with no resolve. Bottom line: great for shopping in store. Don’t order for pickup and don’t order from them online and expect a reasonable shipping time or shipping options.
Hi, I wanted to write this review to let you know about one of your managers Tangela not sure on spelling of her name. I had an issue where I was purchasing multiple gift cards for Xmas for family members. I was going to pay towards it with a $50 gift card my wife gave me to use and pay the remaining balance on my debit card. I must have messed up and swiped the debit card first and the whole purchase went on my debit card. In the middle of your Xmas Eve rush your store had she took me aside and wouldn’t stop until she got it corrected. I kept saying I’m sorry I know you are busy and probably my fault anyway not to worry about it. She was determined to help me. She had the most pleasant attitude and extremely patient. Your company is extremely lucky to have a manager like her to lead your team, especially in todays world where good help is hard to find. I hope this email makes its way to her district manager and shared with your team. I’m just a Dad who hates shopping, especially walking into a makeup store for last minute Christmas Eve shopping and she made my dad better with her pleasant attitude. Thank you!!
I had a really nice customer service experience, so I wanted to leave a review. The product I was looking for wasn't on the shelf, so one of the workers went in the back and checked if it was there. When it wasn't there, she actually went and consulted with the hair dresser to see what product might be similar before finding me and making a recommendation. I appreciated her taking that extra step!
Placed an online order and after 1:30 minutes I decided to stop at the store to pick up. I honestly never got a confirmation that my order was ready however I assumed that it should be ready since I only ordered 6 items. They were very busy and after a couple of minutes waiting at the order pick up desk, a cashier acknowledged my presence and asked me to wait. After waiting another 2 minutes for another associate to finish a conversation by the exit door, the same cashier asked for her to help me. Long story short. Order was not ready and I was told by this associate that it could take up to 6 or more hours to get an order pulled since they do not have a dedicated order puller. Wow! What a convenience! ULTA, Why offer a service that you're not able to provide? The more disappointing part of this story is that I was already at the store, trying to pick up a pre-paid order for $140.00 and since it was not ready I asked her to cancel it. Instead of offering for me to wait a little and pull the order, she politely explained to me that we do not get charged until the order is pulled... She had time to chat at the door but not to pull an order... Wow again! That is why Amazon is taking over. Because of lack of vision, commitment and customer service in the brick and mortar retail industry. This Ulta associate should take a stroll outside the parking lot of her store to see the" freshly" closed Pier 1, Charming Charlie and K-Mart and do some soul searching. The hardest thing in retail is to get customers inside your store and when they are there, employees do not care if they shop or not...
