UMass Boston offers summer courses on the Island of Nantucket at the Nantucket Field Station. 2-3 week Courses in Biology, Art, History and GIS.
Each summer students have the opportunity to take courses and live on Nantucket for a few weeks. In Summer 2014 the following courses will be offered :

ENYSTY 280 Arachnology: The Spiders of Nantucket Island August 10-16th
EEOS 406: GIT Data Collection and Field Methods August 4th-24th
