The COHL Project is currently conducting follow-up interviews with individuals who were initially interviewed by the project over a year ago.

The purpose of the Carolina Oral Health Literacy Project is to:
1. Determine the effectiveness of certain oral health related materials in certain high risk populations
2. Examine the role of the Women, Infant, and Children's Program (WIC) and oral health literacy in navigating the dental health care system including preventive and emergency use
3.Evaluate the effects of the Women, Infant, and Children's Program and oral health literacy on cumulative treatment and costs of dental service provided by Medicaid
