Uncle John's 83rd Cottage Grove

These are the worst rib tips I have ever tried. I could not eat them the fat meat, veins and goodness knows what. I could not eat them. Threw them in the garbage. No slaw, and the potatoes were half cooked. If you want some good rib tips try anyplace but here. The meat is cheap, no taste.. 10.00 for a small tip. Robbery!

My last visit to Uncle John's was the best visit that I have ever had going there in all these years. The food which was Hot links was excellent. I hope that they stay consistent.. MY wife loved them and I am always trying to impress my sweetie no matter how small or big and when she is happy. And pleaseed I am ecstactic. Keep it up Uncle John's on 83rd and Cottage Grove.

Food was hot and fresh I got a full slab on July 3rd wait time was only about 30mins.... line was long but it moved right along glad we waited it was worth itFood: 4/5

The food use to be so good here . Now it’s just average the tips I received was not tender and the sauce just taste watered down the hot links was good my only complaint on them was I received one long link and two small link like they took one and cut it in half to make three as I ordered. the fries was cold but the lady at the front counter taking the orders was friendly

I got the rib tips and a slab of ribs. They have a good sauce and give you fries and bread with each order. The ribs were a little tough and cooked too long. And they could have been more meater. The tips were very good. They also have fish and chicken.Food: 3/5

This is one of my favorite places to order ribs from. Today I am disappointed to even leave this type of review, they’re always busy but always service is top notch however the food was uncooked and uncut full of fat and my daughter and husband are sick from it! Man that was a disappointment, they didn't have what I wanted then I settled for what the woman recommended which was rib tips. I didn't know they come with bones hence why they're called "tips" says it comes with corn bread, fries and slaw. Got one slice of white bread from a dollar loaf and no slaw, finall found the 5 french fries under the food soggy and wet. Literally one mouthful of edible food.

Great local BBQ spot. The food is CONSISTENTLY good. They are pretty fast, the customer service is good and their sauce is delicious. Their turkey tips are phenomenal. I usually get the mild sauce on the food, but sometime I get it on the side costs a little extra just to taste the meat. It has a great smokey flavor so its enjoyable with or without sauce. All orders come with fries. Definitely worth a visit.

Wing Turkey Tip Combo was TERRIBLE was it because it was Monday??? The Wings were double or triple fried. I ordered wings not fried hard. Cashier wrote on ticket fry wings soft. If they couldn't prepare them that way then she should have told me that the Wings were hard & dry & still had feathers. Turkey tips were not worth the $19 they were dry couldn't chew over cooked and only about a hand full nothing but fries & sauce bread was hard like it had been sitting out. This place use to be Good.... Don't know why they are not now.... Many of the comments made here say how the food from here is expensive and just not good.....
