Unique Sushi

Personally I love Sakura I’ve never had a bad experience. The food has always been spectacular, the servers have been very kind and on top of things. Unfortunately tonight 4/7/23 I had a not so pleasant experience with the food. There was a piece of plastic in one of the rolls.

The sushi chef should be ashamed and fired at this place. I ordered 3 rolls I would normally order at my regular sushi spot with high hopes they would be good after looking at the pictures on the menu. Very disappointed. This chief obviously doesn't take any pride in there sushi. Iv had better sushi from a grocery store. If you thinking about trying this place and have had decent sushi in the past. Do not waste your time and money here

We are by no means experts on Japanese cuisine, but we thought the food was delicious. It was a little intimidating for us to order off the menu as there weren’t many pictures and we aren’t too familiar with some of the flavors. We ordered the Hawaiian Sushi Rolls and Chicken Teriyaki Dinner and split them. The food was fast, fresh tasting and we were full when we finished. We will plan to come again and try other things in the menu.

I waited forEVER for a doordash pick up and only ONE waitress even offered to help. Not cool. Update: it gets worse every time. It's completely dead in here and my customer ordered one thing that it's taken them half an hour to prepare. Hey, Sakura! Doordash customers count and should NOT be put off till someone shows up to get it!

I eat here several times a week. I had to stop a couple bites in, to write a review. Whoever prepared the sushi tonight did a fabulous job. I have never tasted sushi so fresh. Everything is beyond on point! Amazing! :

This poor girl, it's her first day as a server. She was amazing!!!! She corrected her mistakes and gave us great service. My man said that he would come back again. He is not really big sushi bar guy but the combos are delicious. Hope we get you next time girly. Update!!! They did it again! Love this place. If I could give it another rating I so would.

Absolutely amazing tonight for dinner. Sakura’s chefs and waitresses never let us down. Great service and delicious sushi and pad Thai! Tonight’s sushi artist fulfilled a special request and he did not disappoint! One the most absolutely delicious rolls we’ve ate and beautifully plated. We will continue to return again and again.

Come here regularly surprising good sushi for being so far from the ocean and in ponca city. Definitely try the fire dragon roll.

This is small and wonderful. The service is good. The waitstaff never let my glass empty. They meet and exceed my expectations. The food is very tasty and the choice of sushi rolls is quite large for such a quaint restaurant. Their Bento Box is a great deal. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good Japanese inspired meal.

Good food, service atmosphere! Bathrooms need better lighting and sign out front needs painted.Food: 5/5
