United Smiles has two offices, one in Chester and another in Colonial Heights, Virginia. We are committed to taking part in our great community. I was a new patient at this facility on August 29th. Front desk was somewhat friendly and office is neat and orderly. The dentist is very educated, professional and courteous however there’s a light skin African American hygienist that is very unprofessional. She is not a good fit for the establishment. She is very immature and felt the conditions of my mouth was humorous. It took everything in me to ignore her. It’s evident that she lacks compassion, maturity, and professionalism. Unfortunately in the dental practice these skills are important and she should receive discipline, accountability and a better mentor for guidance on her demeanor.
More honest than any dentist I've been to. I moved to Northern Virginia last year and was told by two dentists there that I needed to replace the old bridge with an root canal treatment because I had an infection inside. And they offrered me a new bridge with cost a lot. After that, I remembered United smiles dental was giving me reasonable price so I drove 2 hours to visit this clinic again. The dentist here said I do not need a new bridge after root canal treatment. If he wanted to make more money, he wouldn't have done that. What a nice dental!
The Dentist here are amazing and I've never had any problems coming here until the past year, it has become almost impossible to get someone on the phone. I shouldn't have to drive to the office just to make an appointment. I called, was left on hold for 20 minutes until I hung up, called back only to keep getting busy signal. Their management could really do better at making the reception staff more accessible.
Been coming here for a few years now and sometimes its hard to reach someone on the phone to reschedule or schedule app. Wait time in lobby is never high however you don’t seem to get the same doctor each time. Billing goes smooth and its always cleared before any work. I appreciate the transparency. I have referred family here as well mainly due to having bilingual folks.
Dr. Amer is awesome! Very personable, makes you feel as though he really cares! During every visit I always feel at ease! He answers all questions & explains everything until you understand. The staff is awesome as well! My teeth look fantastic after my braces were removed! I am extremely excited to start the summer braces free with a wonderful smile! Thanks United Smiles!
I scheduled my daughter's cleaning a few months ago because that was the earliest appointment available. The day of her appointment I called to confirm the time and the receptionist asked me if no one called me. She goes on giving me a story about how one of their dentist's left the practice to start their own business. She also advised me to call around to other places and check for availability. I waited a few month's for her cleaning to be told to go else where. I am displeased with United Smiles this being the second unsatisfactory event to occur. I do not recommend this place of business to anyone! United Smiles doesn't deserve any stars!
The people in this office have been SUPER professional. Specifically Dr. Amer is very knowledgeable and is willing to work with patients. At the start of my treatment I was told I would have my braces 14 months. Today they are coming off. 16 months of treatment. I will post before and after photos.
Dr. Amir and staff have been great from the time my braces were placed, all the way up to removal. Dr. Varkey did an excellent extraction as well. I've even had my daughter serviced here before. Great family office!
Really great experience! All the staff are really friendly, was seen promptly, staff was really good at explaining everything and answering questions and overall made the experience of going to a dentist as smooth and stress-free as possible; will definitely be recommending to my friends and family!
The entire staff from the front desk to the doctor provided excellent customer service! I felt welcomed and comforted! Dr. Varkey, makes sure you are pain free and very gentle. Mrs. Sonya, provides the same awesome service! The front office is professional, they know who you are and knowledgeable of your insurance. I have recommended family and friends and will be coming here for my family dental needs!
